i missed you, PHS. i’m leaning on optimisim regarding OW2 - but your presence has been sorely missed.
you’re painting a picture a that the bloomers here don’t want to look at too hard, despite the how lifelike it is. the warning signs are there. this company would do well to heed them before revving up the hype machine.

I don’t think OW2 BP will be thaaaattt bad, Blizzard isn’t stupid and they’re gonna use a model closer to that of Fortnite.
For sure OW2 will alienate some people, but it’s the core game that matters and that I think will be the bigger issue. If they continue murdering hero identities the way they have been, then yeah, the old people will leave because the thing that kept them in it, that level of familiarity and comfort, will be lost.
What was the point of this. Attention?
That what I’m saying, I def play OW a lot but I also play valorant and CoD when I’m in the mood for something different
I think a myriad number of reasons, one no less than hero shooters in general falling out of favor due to battle royale games, have dropped the numbers. Name a change someone likes, and I’ll find two who say the game is doomed because of it. Sometimes even when doing everything right as reason, things are as good as gets.
That was like the weirdest “i quit” post I’ve ever seen. See you in OW2.
Really doesn’t matter if they do or don’t. They’ll be soon replaced by many other players who are far more positive about the game anyways.
The negativity crowd can feel free to walk right out the door, the game will be fine without them

Theres no assurance whatsoever that there will be any such influx of so-inclined players…and no evidence of it either
that said, there’s no good reason to say things like the above in an attempt to drive off yet another player from the game. The player population is thin as it is.

and I’m already searching other alternatives like you for online competitive or fun (here for people the fun is to be toxic and this say a lot about the game status)
I had like you a lot of friends who played daily with me but now we play different games (I still hear some on discords while others fell silent)
now I play just 1-2 games for 2 days week, the balance is horrible, some heroes sitting in the garbage can while others sit on top for months…
games are full stomp or be stomped… no real match…
all of this to say I feel you. good luck for your future in gaming and future in general.

Destiny 2 doesn’t do anything for me. Glorified time wall. Shudders i have too much intimate knowledge of how Warframe is produced and runs i struggle to even utter that word nowadays. Valorant is cute for about half an hour.
Apex is a snore and PUBG is trying to be CoD.
