Please do us all a favor and go play something else, nobody wanna play into that boring comp where everyone babysits the bastion in some hard to reach spot behind a shield with a mercy babysitting with dmg beam.

I will feed my baby boy lots of mac and cheese with blue food coloring. That’s just green, but the kids cannot tell the difference.
I’m bastion main and in classic I mostly want play separate like other DPSes. Taking angles, trying flank and something. But mostly my team want habitually “help” me thinking that is neccessary thing. Like I took position and rein came and spoted me with his giant shield… bruh. Or I just wait enemy’s push to surpise them, sometimes It spends too much time and the mercy who just sits with me insted of help others. Don’t worry, I can heal myself and leave if spot is no longer safe. If I die it is my fault. I like play independly on Bastion like other DPSes do (Cass, Soldier, Ashe at least) but my every team covers me with shields even if in this angle shield is uneffective. Seems like the allies want play “bunker” composition if see Bastion in team
I guess the Baby sitting with Bastion came from OW2. Yeah it also was in OW1, but comparing with OW2 Bastion really need some heal pocket. This opinion has strengthened. Cause also until Bastion get self-repair perk it really need some baby-sitter just for live. It is devs fault, repair is most important ability for Bastion, same as take a breath for roadhog. It should not be a perk ability instead of usual one. In OW most critical weakness it is being big and slow. To compensate that, Mauga and Roadhog has self-heal, Bastion has repair perk what becoming available when match going to end

After not being on a adrenaline anger filled rant unlike yday: In terms of Ow2 I got no real issues with him with how his turret mode is timed and has more skill expression as I see it even though the ult is a bit “eh” by being kinda easy to counter and could probably maybe use some tuning. As a Kiri(should be obvious by my name, the sombra icon is outdated from ow1 i think it was) main i basically just wait and suzu in the last few moments if i cant jump to a team mate
It’s only in classic where he can be a annoying menace and frustrating to play vs in uncoordinated groups when he can sit in turret 24/7 with the probably sometimes premades covering him through Ori/Rein etc ^^’ It’s just boring to play into when he can melt majority of the cast so easy with a mercy boost. It also don’t help I’m in silver/bronze range only doing classic for the pass EXP. xP

Huh, sometimes got this: I take angle were enemy Bastion can’t see me, but I can see its shields and start breaking and my Orisa just put her shield and losts it… bruh again. But if I’m not wrong Bastion is not a problem, if we replace Bastion like to Ashe this problem still will keep. Double shield is the problem. Just only Bastion able quickly destroy it, so that’s why it is so popular in classic.
About Bastion itself, since OW1 I sayed that only one thing that Bastion need is moveable limited turret to prevent abusing its power by low ranks and give it movement to make it more useful in high ranks. Not the sick Artillery which even not works as ultimate, not the replacing repair by grenade
