10k player in queue, I finally get in, first ranked I get one leaver and one person who was clearly not belonging in our rank, second ranked I get kicked from the server at the start of the game and now there are 40k ppl in queue.
Indie company btw.

Why on Earth are you trying ranked on a game that isn’t supposed to be out yet and there are lots of reports of people leaving due to the insane volume of people coming in?

TBH they should have disabled ranked for at least 1 week to make sure they iron out any issues

maybe if they didn’t block all of us with pre paids you might have actually had more people in your rank playing 
Because it’s out and it’s supposed to work properly? I didn’t know people were getting dc/d before.
if you take into account the fact that
A: the servers are not only at capacity right now, but way over
and B: the game technically isn’t supposed to be out yet
of course there’s gonna be issues. be patient and wait like an hour or two for everything to clear up a bit

Yeah, I also heard that some people are logging in and they’re missing most/all their OW1 cosmetics. And, some are talking about how they don’t have items from the watch point pack they purchased
So, that’s… not great

I saw people having issues with battle net as well, not being able to even attempt to register phone numbers and a bunch of other stuff.

I honestly don’t even want to try and log in right now because I don’t know what will or won’t happen

Blizzard is incompetent, every other part of this launch made that pretty clear.
Update that people waited 3 years for.
I guess Illidan quote suit this moment perfectly: “You’re not prepared!”
I tried to log in but only got 20K queue. But for me its fine because i can wait some days before i play OW2. 
You must be new to expansion launches/ new game releases.

It has all the properties of a new game launch, or at least an expansion. Lots of substantial backend changes, and a huge amount of interest on playing the game the moment it launches. That will strain any system.
