What if we had an avoid player feature with a time delay. You can’t avoid player till 2 minutes (or whatever time) into a match.
That means no instant avoids just from picking the wrong hero in spawn. If you do good, or the match goes ok, most people will forget you aren’t playing a “good” hero.
If you do bad, and don’t switch you get avoided. Fair enough I think? If the match goes bad, well… the least favorite hero will always get blamed. Not much you can do there besides hoping Blizz will make underdog heroes more viable.
On the other hand, if avoid player only lasts 48 hours this wouldn’t be a big deal anyways. Let everyone avoid up to say, 24, other players but have the avoid expire in 48 hours from initial click. That way, the Q never gets locked down for people that get avoided just for hero picks, but people can also have SOME control over who they Q with outside of groups.
