Avoid doesn't work

You just failed the basic contract.

I’ve been trying to avoid a player who threw a game, and in the next match, I see the exact same player on my team.

I knew I couldn’t trust you, but this is the top level of “we actually don’t give a f***” you could show me.

Never again.

Re-queuing after a loss is risky. Play one match in Arcade to clear up your queue, so you won’t get the same dud twice.

They’re not guaranteeing that the people you avoid will never be on your team. It will prioritize not putting them on your team when they can, but may do so if the queue times might get too long without it.

I’m not a Blizzard shill or anything, but you’re saying they failed a basic contract but you failed to read the contract. It even tells you that it will prioritize them not being in your match when you add them.

I don’t think it’s the best or most optimal system, but…like, that’s what the system is. It’s not a guarantee.

it TRIES ITS BEST.
pinning works the best of you really hate them

They say if you have them pinned, it’s way more likely they aren’t on your team (I think it used to be a guarantee but for very high ranks it’s tough to accomplish). The other list isn’t a guaranteed avoid list (as people said here) it’s a deprioritized list.

There is also the matter of waiting a moment before you queue and after you avoid.

You have to avoid them before requeue. If you do it while in queue, it’ll put them on your team still.

Crazy. I have never once had an avoided person be on my team again. I don’t even see them again…

And there’s only like 12 people on OCE so it’s easy to remember everyone lol
