What i mean by that is how much is an average player’s stats in competetive? (example: i have gold medals (10 kills) so im better than you) And someone could have 25 kills but not in gold. Like i just wanna know the average stats for a dps player. It would be fun to know that if someone says “i have gold dmg so im better than everyone” but only has 1000 dmg? So sorry if it is hard to understand but i will try to give more information.
Well it depends, dmg numbers are kind of pointless in higher ranks. Since you will meet enemy healers that are extremely good at burst healing. You can bring a tank down to low hp and the next moment burst heals comes.
Yeah,i know. But i still wanna know how much kills and dmg an average dps player can do. Also blizzard should add a solo kill or a kill % average (like you know when you kill someone the fire thing and a number comes) so you can say(i have 30 elims im good ur bad) then has only 10% kill average(like moira)
That’s the kind of stats that Jeff does not want. It’s supposed to be team based shooter not CSGO
If you want to have a more direct input if you are an effective dps or not. The killfeed helps if your team(not you) is winning the engagement.
But then your team’s Moiras can just say "i have gold kills"but has done little to no damage to those who she killed.
There are average stat distributions on Overbuff per hero. The only catch is that they aren’t per rank, but you can have an idea of how well you’re doing in relation to the whole playerbase on average.
An example:
Say, you do 14k damage as Mccree in a game. Overbuff shows that the average is 13 255 damage and 14k puts you around the 70th percentile, meaning that, on average, 70% of all people do worse than you.
However, it’s important to realize that such stats can be very misleading. Damage done is a bit less sensitive to this, but take accuracy for example. A high accuracy can mean you’re very good, but also that you’re way too conservative with your shots or that you only ever shoot at easy to hit targets (tanks) whilst ignoring the harder to hit ones.
That’s what I meant by killfeed. If the whole team is dead all the time, of coz moira gets gold dmg. Lol
Did not know that. Thanks!
It depends on many things (mostly on how long the match was)
In a good team I can have 30 kills and barely any deaths.
In a bad team I may not be able even to make a kill.
Did not take that into consideration. Oops.
Yeah. Its hard to take any average stats. It is possible but takes a lot of time. And that is why i said “average”
I’d like a stat on widow: one shots done.
Its not good do have 13 crit hits but only 5 solo kills as example.
For tracer, I’d love a health restored stat to have a better tracking on my recall uses.
Maybe add deaths with recall rdy.
But would also be neat to know what kind if stats others achieve in my rank in a 2,2,2 it might make a bit sense.
Like do mccrees have way more accuracy than me in plat? Do they deal way more dmg than me or am I average for my rank?
I can’t just look at my sr and say okey.
I won a game in high plat therefore my mccree is above average? But what about pure plat stats? Is it still above average for platin?
Stats can’t be compared between ranks anyway.
Having 50% accuracy in bronze is not the same as having 50% accuracy in GM.
There kinda is.On the end screen you may get a Health recovered card. Im not sure if tracer has this stat or is it counted on the healing done.
Hard to understand what you meant but, anyway:
Being a Hanzo player I can tell that average GM Hanzo has Headshot accuracy of ~14%.
Meaning if yours is below 10%, you better either train harder or play other hero.
If I have Gold Kills at 10, I know my team is in trouble.
If I have Bronze kills at 25, we are probably doing very well.
Not GM and will maybe never be. But thanks for atleast an stat
Good point there
Only existing as a card.
But yes.
Btw i love to get that card
But within a game you have no way to track this unless you always calculate it before you recall.
Not that the stat would be super important.
