So how old is Hammond then…?
If he hitched a ride on Winston’s escape pod, which I assume was a little while ago, which was definitely more than 3 years… technically he should be dead by now? I mean unless the experiments he endured has increased his lifespan dramatically.

I believe the game says Hammond is 14 somewhere, maybe it’s the wiki. I contribute that largely to the genetic stuff.
He is a genetically altered hyper intelligent hamster.
His aging process has most likely been slowed immensely.

Either that or Mercy happened to vacation in Australia and was like "My Hamsters never die >.> "

He’s genetically modified, did you not notice that he is also roughly the size of two guinea pigs?

Hammond is roughly the equivalent of 400 human years old.

Hamsters are DPS mains by nature and the fact that this one is 14 years old should terrify everyone.

On the Overwatch website, he is age 14
He is also dog-sized, and generally speaking, large animals live longer than smaller animals.
Maybe if I tell my Grandmother’s racist parrot that he’ll finally die…

He’s a super intelligent Hamster from space, I’m sure he could live longer because of whatever they did to him.
he’s a vampire and hides in his ball in daytime.
14??? hide him from that old boston DPS.

that makes much more sense
Crackpot theory: Hammond isn’t hamster specimen number 8. He’s the 8th hamster specimen. They sliced him open and transferred the genetically modified organs/parts to a new body each time the old one stopped being able to support them as well. Which is why he decided to cause the Great Ape Uprising on the moon - he remembered the previous seven times he’d been ‘upgraded.’
