Should we have the option to enable auto reload?
Also, what if we have the option to see when auto reload starts up?
Example: A slide bar to adjust between 0 to 10 seconds. Maybe even higher for those that want like 15, 30, or maybe 45 even for some weird reason.
Unlike TF2 where you can just shoot your gun to cancel a reload, in Overwatch reloading your weapon requires a time commitment and cannot easily be animation canceled. You really would not want this to be automatic. You will run into cases where it’ll start auto reloading for you the moment someone interacts with you - or worse, enemies will try to abuse that by forcing you to shoot a couple rounds and then try to hide for the shot time until they expect auto reload to kick in.
Exactly, which is where I thought of the idea of setting a timer for auto reload option mostly so reloading isn’t that much of a death sentence.
It’s either set too short and it becomes a problem, or it’s too long at which point it really doesn’t buy you anything. Just learn to hit R, it’s not that tough.
I don’t really understand the purpose for this.
I mean if people aren’t even able to think about reloading anymore then idk.

I cant tell if this is a joke.
But rather than wasting development time on a feature that doesn’t need to be in the game at all, like literally, this has no purpose at all in the game, you are trying to find a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.
So what i’m going to do instead, to save the developers time and your own time is give you a tip.
When your ammo counter hits 0.
Press the R key.
It was a feature in TF2. TF2 allowed you to cancel a reload by shooting, so having the process automated at all times could be considered optimal (albeit a bit lazy). This doesn’t apply in overwatch because you can’t cancel reload by firing so it actually can put you at a distinct disadvantage in some cases.
But you dont have to hit R when your ammo hits 0. It’s the only time in the game that it auto reloads for you 
Why would you even want auto reload?
