I have been playing this game since OW1. Never hacked or really said anything.
I did SUCK at the volleyball game mode and lost 4 times in a row miserably.
I would love to know on how in the middle of a volleyball game I was permabanned for NO REASON…
What programs are on ur computer?
Cause some programs are false flagged as cheating softwhere
There should be a reason in the email you were sent
the email says why you was banned but they can be appealed if you didnt do anything wrong the ban would be lifted
I was auto banned for ‘hacks’ 2 months ago, and again this week. I just put in the second appeal for this ban, first appeal got me the same copy-pasted “response” from ‘Vorria’. Seems like the standard operating precedure is:
Automatically permaban any player who gets reported for hacks enough times
Deny the first appeal and claim “An additional review of the action has been completed…we have confirmed our initial findings, and the action will not be reversed or changed.”
If they appeal AGAIN, start an actual review of that player’s account.
Obviously im not using any cheats. I dont have any issues with EAC or Riot Vanguard, or literally any other game/anti-cheat for that matter. And I don’t even play heroes that would benefit from aimbot, top 3 are Mercy Rein and Brig lmao. Im pretty sure I get reported for A. Carrying games and B. Spamming voicelines while I do it (this is like the only fun part of OW left to me). I’m particularly fond of the Winston laugh.
I have appealed this 8 times. The email just said for hacking. I went through the software and reinstalled windows. Finally after the 8th appeal they said if I continue to appeal this issue it will affect my other games. I guarantee you they didn’t review anything. They didn’t look at anything. Their trash automated system banned it either for salty players reporting or idk maybe something installed that it deemed. I asked what that software was. I’m looking for any insight into what it was. It just sucks. I never hacked and lost an account with literally skins and Goldie’s since ow1 all because they are too lazy to review footage. Keep in mind. I’m not that good. I am a stuck high plat/ low diamond. Who gets slapped around by everyone cause my aiming is absolute garbage. I just have okay game sense. If anyone would have reviewed gameplay they would see there is NO shot I am hacking. And the threat of it affecting my other blizzard games is very low. I guess this is why OW , the team and blizzard as a company are all in the trash.
They don’t look at game footage, they most likely use tools under the hood… Most bans are are slow just because you were not cheating in the soccer mode doesn’t mean you were not cheating in comp or QP, and they ban in waves usually… Which it was more in real time but can’t have everything…
It isn’t there job to tell you what you used and info they give you, can help the next iteration of hacks to bypass there anti-cheat software, plus you should know what your running on your computer and are sole responsible for it…
