From the last update I can’t hear the walking sound of every pg. I had a Roadhog coming right at me from behind and I didn’t hear him until I was dead. Same thing with beams (Moira or Symmetra). I can’t hear them nor their beam until I’m dead. When I’m surrounded by enemies I can’t hear a single one too. Sometimes I can’t even hear people ults (enemies or friends)
Is this always or only sometimes? I’ve had issues like that before but only ever in Havana.
I had a similar bug today. Suddenly coulnd’t hear anything. It fixed itself after I died ingame, but in the following game (quickplay) I had the same issue.
Yeah, been having the same issue. The bug also applies to voice lines for ultimates. I never hear my own teammate’s ults and I don’t hear an enemy ult until after its already done. Especially when its say, Reaper ulting behind me its super annoying to not hear anything until I’m dead already. No matter how many times I restart the game I still have the same problem.
From the last patch always for the walking part and now it started with ults. I just died because i couldn’t hear Orisa coming out from a door in numbani. And moira is a mess for me. She can be an enemy or an ally and I can’t hear her beam nor her ult. I was super cautious about sounds because I could hear them pretty well but now it’s impossible to play almost. I can only hear them when they speak usually
if you restart your computer does the audio work? I have had the same/similar issue and I realised that what caused the issue for me was rightclicking the sound icon which disabled the audio. It was fixable by going into the realtek hd audio manager and clicking on the ports and setting them to headset. Also is it only on ow? If thats the case you can delete your config(a new one will be created when you start ow again.
Yes I restarted it, it is I think at least a couple of weeks that the problem persists and I obviously restarted the game/the pc. I will try to change the pc things you suggested and I will see. But I read about so many people that are experiencing this bug rn. Thank you anyway! I will let you know if they work!
