Attempt to hide the problems again

They will try to trick the players again.

Weirdly, once again they didn’t mention the Workshop, the resource that didn’t let Overwatch 1 go bankrupt during the silent cancellation of PVE.

They said they won’t bring back the PVE missions from the archives because they broke them… For the love of God, what kind of rotten excuse is that? The Junkestein mode was from Overwatch 1 too and it didn’t break anything… It’s literally the same game with just minor graphical improvements.

Who cares about those who paid almost 15 dollars for PVE that doesn’t even give you access to play the co-ops from the archives or the Underworld mission and there’s hardly any other PVE missions, right?

Who cares about players who loved the idea of PVE, as promised and they canceled it without telling anyone so as not to make Overwatch 2 go bankrupt instantly after the official release, right?

And here we go with another set of lame excuses from the Overwatch 2 management team to “hide the gaps” that exist in this game, the lack of resources.

Their priority is to release more skins in the store, to return the lootbox. But the basics, as promised in Overwatch 2, they don’t care.

I just want to see the day that the “competing game” decides to announce some kind of PVE or story mode, obviously weeks later Blizzard goes back on the PVE and decides to relaunch…

Oh how could I forget, imagine if Overwatch REALLY NEEDS another DAMAGE hero? There really are very few damage heroes in the roster, that’s why they’re adding another one…

Maybe it will sound cynical but it looks like they scrapped all last ideas that they had in order to survine until they get yearly bonus

they did in a interview.

there are no plans for it since its to resource intensive for them

In the past. Is not resource intensive, because its connected to main overwatch scripting layer. Basically what we have in workshop is just what they use in StateScript (used in TED editor) but more simple.

Overwatch needs more heroes released per year. More supports, more tanks, more dps.

I’ve lost count of how many different excuses they’ve come up with to justify canceling PVE. They’re actually afraid that PVE will be as popular as PVP and will feel pressured to release more missions, and since they work slowly (they plan little and deliver little), the community will be all over them asking questions. There’s no other explanation.

Take the case of the Workshop. As soon as players started creating fantastic modes, they found a way to “quietly end it”, and they also gave a bunch of excuses. Now the Workshop is out of date, almost all of it broken on purpose. And now new players need to have a specific ENDORSEMENT LEVEL to enter a custom game? Complete nonsense, precisely to harm custom games.

Exactly, I said it ironically about the DPS. They are very slow to deliver, especially the tanks and sups. The DPS shouldn’t even bring more to at least equal half the amount of DPS heroes…
