Attack Sym is Bae

I’m actually surprised I don’t see more attack sym.

  • Alternate fire shoots through shields.
  • Can set up turrets in areas that enemies will come from, to delay their return.
  • Casting a moving barrier in front of you means your team can move freely forward.
  • Teleporter will bring downed teammates back faster, especially if you get a good spot.
  • Primary fire locks onto enemy Sym’s turrets, taking them out quickly.

Heck, I just played attack sym and trampled the enemy’s defense Sym, and she had setup time.

If it makes you feel better once the rework is out she will be on both attack and defense on every single team for 2 weeks.

Yeah… at least it won’t be as bad as Hanzo. People constantly using him because they knew the change was coming, and wanted to get in just one last scattershot, and now people who refuse not to use him.

TBH, I feel like he’s been in just about every game for the past two months. :persevere:

Nevertheless… I’m sure once Sym’s changes come through, people fill flood the forums screaming to either buff or nerf her, as usual.

I’m just saying that Attack Sym has it’s merits.

Lets all be real here, if even the majority of attack syms were successful, NO ONE would complain. But that’s not the case is it. While there are some good players who have SOME success, it just isn’t common and instead leaves the team feeling strained as it as to compensate for the 5v6.

This is wrong and this is why people hate Symmetra.
And they’re right.

A real Symmetra main will never attack with her unless is stubborn.
She can do wonderful stuff but she isn’t just a hero to attack.

Why would you pick her attacking with 25 better options available?
(68% winrate Symmetra main here on Competitive)

I can assure you my winrate would be 5% if I ever attacked with her.

And did that prejudice come out of thin air??? If syms where reking enemy teams on attack and producing victories, who would be complaining about having an attack sym on the team? WHO???

The illogical and hateful Overwatch community’s looking for scapegoats.

Also doesn’t help the propaganda channels like Overwatch Central and Your Overwatch has a big anti Symmetra stint at one point.

It doesn’t matter if Sym is bodying, she gets reported because she’s Sym
