Atmos still not working

Since you resolved and closed the topic, even if not fully answered, I am creating this new topic. Here is the previous dialogue:

I asked what could be the reason atmos for home theater stopped functioning. AVR says “multi PCM”, while all other content is correctly output as “atmos”. This used to work since the update mentioning “spatial sound”, but has since stopped working. . The current is not including the height channel, only regular surround.
-Your reply:
"For the home theather you can use the Dolby Atmos through Windows 10 in this case, but not through the options in game for Overwatch.
If enabled you will need to turn off the “Dolby Atmos for headphones” within the Sound menu in game too.

And, well, I admit that there’s not really much that we can suggest you in this case, as this is not exactly within our scope of support.
Just make sure to have enabled Dolby Atos through Windows 10 and make sure it’s not enabled in game.
As long as your configuration for Windows is correct (and it should be considering that you mentioned that it works on other content), you shouldn’t have any particular issue."

my reply:
is there a way you can test and confirm that you get atmos for home theater working with overwatch and win 10? the option for headphones has always been off. Only Overwatch does not work.

Did you find a fix to this? I have PC connected to Home Theatre System, with Dolby Atmos. Overwatch used to work in Atmos, now I only get PCM. Dolby Atmos for headphones is turned off. Atmos for Home Theatre is enabled in Windows 10 settings and works in other games…

sorry no… :frowning: I gave up. no support from blizzard or dolby. looks like they canceled atmos without notifying. still listed as supported game over at dolby though.
