What does the community at large prefer? I myself prefer assault maps but I’d like to hear what everyone else has to say.

Not a fan of assault, but I prefer it over Push. Push sometimes is a hassle especially if the enemy team has a huge lead over you and it’s hard to turn a losing match to a win. Also I am not a fan of the maps.
Push every time. It has it’s flaws but 2cap was just one giant flaw. Most of Push’s issues are pretty small, like the position of the windows on Colosseo start or Esperanca’s death corridors.
The only major thing I’d like to see is having the bot walk itself between barriers without needing an escort. This would allow the team who reclaimed it to move forward to their barrier without having to take a 4v5 because someone is moving the bot across the entire map.
I think a lot of people who hate Push/love 2cap so much just never really gave it a chance, like with 5v5. They see it emblematic of OW2 and hate change, so they just see red every time.
This is mentioned a lot but it’s the same in literally every mode except KOTH, the only difference with Push is that it’s condensed into 1 round as opposed to 2-3. It’s just like if one team finishes with 4 minutes on the clock and the other finishes with 10 seconds. It’s going to be way harder for the second team to win, yeah, because they got their asses beat the first round.

Hot take push is better then most hybrid maps. The ones with only 2 defenders spawns

I liked assault but push has grown on me. I don’t think it’s a perfect mode by any means but I definitely have more fun on it than I used to
Anything is better than Push.

Anything over Push. It’s just not a fun mode spending half the match chasing after the robot
