Ashe/Widow on console

It’s so weird how they feel entirely different when they both have similar playstyles

Like, I can play Ashe and perform well no problemo. But Widow? It feels like her shots just do not exist after I press fire. I know, git gud and all that, but dang it’s way harder to than I thought. Widow’s way different to pick up

From a high plat hitscan main. It’s really not that hard once you find the right settings.

100 aim assist strength
10 aim assist window
10 aim assist ease in

Feels like damn aimbot

What sensitivity would be best for that?

Aim Ease In on snipers can be a little problematic as it’s pretty much a second layer of Aim Assist but instead of slowing your sensitivity around the body like Aim Assist does, Aim Ease In further slows only the inside/middle part of the body.
Alot of people talk about how Aim Ease In is good for accuracy but bad for headshots because of this.
Some people avoid Aim Ease In altogether as it’s kind of like learning a 3rd sensitivity ontop of your Aim Assist and regular sensitivity

Sensitivity’s just whatever works for you. I use low sens because my mains require heavy aim requirements and I’m not really all that great with high sens.

But if you wanna get specific
55 horizontal
55 vertical
96 aim smoothing
Dual zone

I’ve used that since 2017

I play a lot of beam, melee and projectile heroes so my sens is high, which works for Ashe and McCree. But Widow feels hard to aim with if I’m fast, so I think I’ll change her settings specifically to be lower, maybe more like 60H/70V

I really wouldn’t recommend using different sensitivities for different heroes. It can ruin muscle memory development. But honestly it’s up to you, everyone works differently. Before you adjust your sensitivity try adjusting her relative aim sensitivity while zoomed bar first.

Used the Ashe to Widowmaker sensitivity calculator.

it’s pretty much about the scoped sens difference between them.
Widow/Ana scope is different from Ashe scope, when I was looking for Widow and Ashe sens, the sens from youtube videos/streamers/pro players of widow in the majority case was lower than Ashe.
So if you are confortable with ashe sens you probably should lower Widow sens ( I’m guessing you use the same scoped sens for both ), in my case the difference in their scoped sens is 10 ( ashe 90, Widow 80 )

they are VERY different. but it seems the same at first.

I had 400 hours on widow around the time that Ashe came out, and i couldnt hit ANYTHING on ashe. Like to the point where i was like “bro does this hero have a spread? it has to be a projectile or something right?”

but i was just bad lmao.

Idk how to see it. like the sensitivity is the same, 30 scope ashe = 30 scope widow.
but its JUST DIFFERENT.

it took me a while to get used to it, since i dont play much ashe.

I think it might be because Widow kinda zooms in and her scope is slower, Ashe you kinda have to be fast, almost spammy

There’s also charge, Ashe like I said can shoot as she pleases but learning Widow is hard because I won’t always have my shot ready at a good moment if I’m shooting often
