Ashe's VA fired?

Did she get fired?

Why has it been so long since Ashe got a new voice line?

I would be shame if it is true. I doubt any actress can replace her.

She probably has very busy schedule as she’s one of the most successful voice actresses.

Apparently she really disliked Blizzard laying off a ton of staff members back in early 2019, and people are thinking she left Blizzard because of their decision to do that. But nobody really knows if that’s the case or not.

But since then we haven’t seen any new voicelines for Ashe.
She was very vocal about it on Twitter

Just something to point out is that Bastion hasn’t gotten a new voiceline since 2018, but Chris Metzen (Bastion’s VA) is still doing voice acting for other Blizzard characters in WoW like Thrall in the recent WoW cinematic.

So who knows ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Not for 6 months. She’s most likely fired because of that drama she posted on twitter.

Heard that rumor too. Althou it was from bend knee to Whinie the Pooh angle. But third version was about Blizz paying her too little? Hard to keep track of what really happend. Oh well to research mobile.

Which drama? Blitzchung one or others?

Blizzard fired 800 people shortly after announcing record year in profit, alot of people didnt like that

I see. I don’t think Ashe would have much lore to develop, she’s added as a new DPS and also for Mccree’s short. Every short must have some action to attract viewers.

No something else she talked about, I can’t really say but here’s a tweet:

And what I find weird is she still has overwatch on her twitter bio

Yup found this thread from way back when:

It seems string of anticorporate tweets straind her working status. Still she did voiced character. So I dont see why she should remove that from her bio. Unless they replaced her…

Seems like this topic comes up every event and people just want to add fuel to the fire instead of doing some basic research.

  • She’s one of the busiest VA’s in the industry. Scheduling conflicts are a certainty.
  • She attended an OWL game as a special guest months after these tweets were made.
  • She still has OW on her twitter bio. If she was fired/replaced, why would this still be listed? She has arguably been in more notable roles so there wouldn’t be a need to have this listed still.

I wonder which Overwatch voice actor or actress has free time the most…

Iv tweeted her to see I hope she answers

My guess would be on Chris Metzen (Bastion).

He was a former Blizzard VP and lead OW designers, he retired not long after OW came out. He does some voice work now and again when he’s needed but I don’t think he’s doing anything else outside of that.

I have at least 15 family members who sound just like her in Alabama

I doubt they would be allowed to do that. More likely she left.

Fellas relax.

She retweeted someone asking for more Ashe voice work 19 hours ago.

Busy or not, I’m sure she could find half a day to do some lines in a studio within the past 6+ months.
