This 5 damage nerf knocks me off, I still play, but such a frustration when pepega stood another chance to escape with 1-5 hp due to falloff damage increases damage nerf even more. Reapper, df, mei survive 3 shots now, survive even two taps via hs+bs…which is broken, so you have to spam hip fire more, but you also have to manage your ammo to be able to do that, which is skilled, but you know… it was already skilled before all changes, and now we have ammo decreased back to 12 bullets from 15. -5 damage disables hs+melee combo as well, which is annoying and feels unrewarding. Ashe becomes harder to play, and way forgiving for enemy to play against. I think they should revert 5 dmg nerf or bring back 3 bullets, I prefer 1st one. Or just decrease falloff up to 35m (scoped). Also dynamite, I don’t mind to have it 150 damage max, but Baaawb…how to farm him w/o mercy boost now? If I do big 6 man dynamite it deals less damage by 1 additional dynamite now, which cooldown was also increased btw. Decrease ult cost tho or revert CD to 10 sec.

Ashe feels bad rn, I think she was stronger marksman on her release. They mess up with her kit without anyone asks for it.

They were necessary. If you wanna kill quick there’s widow. If you want to one shot as Ashe you need teamwork and a Mercy.

Typicaly the point of more HP is so you survive more things. You can do this almost 4x their effective range away. So it’s not like you lost a duel…
Tip: headshot hipfire instead. Utilise the buffs from march
By hitting people. It still farms really fast. It is just 25 damage.

Or just don’t because she’s competing for best dps hero.
Only Widow Tracer Soldier and Mccree outdo her and they all need slight nerfs.

Ashe’s old Viper stats degenerated map gameplay to just “one tapping on corner peek.”
Because the TTK was increased, defensive positioning and offensive flanking will always get value. With a high TTK, a non-flanking attacker would need to win every 1v1 to push in, while the smart defender only needs to win a single 1v1. For the attacker to win, they need to control a flank angle, and coordinate with their team to attack from multiple perspectives.
Yeah I wouldn’t play her without a Mercy, she’s broken with a Mercy but without she’s not strong. I don’t play her because of her reload it’s triggering, when she had the 15 clip she was fun

Ashe is fine right now. The last thing she needs are buffs. Hitscans, in general, are still on the radar for being overtuned. We don’t need Ashe adding to that even further.

Can someone explain to me why does it take forever to get her ult?
I can get ults fast with other DPS but with Ashe, it takes 1-2 max per round.
It’s pretty unfair imo.
Personally I’d rather they buff her crit damage only, so body shots are weaker than before but headsets maintain their power.
The Dynamite nerf was a weird choice, I’d rather they nerfed the burn damage than the explosion.

I’m happy you’re gm, but instead of doin like all the other gm around this forum (or even more famous ones) who complain when their main get nerfed what about to adapt?
Reaper main, the one who’s always sent back to the moon by Ashe knockback, personally if I wanted a nerf I wanted that one more than damage.

Ashe is, in my opinion- one of the most fundamentally flawed heroes within the context of overwatch.
She’s a “marksman” type hero who is strong at mid-long ranges.
But she’s also fairly powerful up close, with the buffs they’ve given her viper, as well as the threat of dynamite (which itself provides numerous forms of utility)
All whole being impossible to dive due to her ability to knock away anyone who gets close while also repositioning herself with the same ability.
To go with that her ultimate is nothing to scoff at either.
But I’ll overlook my distaste for Ashe and simply contribute this-
Ashe does not appreciably under perform.
She has a healthy pick and win rate at most ranks of play.

As a Genji player I understand you. I understand how frustrating is to get your character balanced around the dependence on another one. If Mercy didn’t have dmg boost Ashe could be better balanced

Just deleting dmg boost and giving her another ability instead of it
There isnt a single support that is unplayable rn, all of them including brig are strong and an equally viable pick in their niche other than bap who is op atm.
I wouldn’t call brig “strong” I would call her playable on her niche, I know that none of them are unplayable but if we remove damage boost from mercy just because of Ashe she very well would be almost unplayable.
