Its kind of silly, i love to play Ashe and have the most time on her in OW2, but everytime i switch to another hero i get way more consistent and easier value.
She is in that awkward spot of having the weaknesses of a sniper without having the strength of one. Theoretically you would prefer her on maps with long LoS, except she gets hard countered by real snipers, which also want to play on the same maps.
So you kind of have to play her in suboptimal ways just to make her work at all.
Ashe kinda needs buffs to either make her a real sniper or make her commited to being a mid range hero. But then she would need better mobility.
I think she would need a decent buff to her coach gun with increased knockback and a reduced cooldown. Illaries outburst is what Ashe wished her coach gun was.

I played her a bunch and she’s weak in 5v5. Mainly because less players are spread out further which makes dynamite hits way harder. And like you said, on long range she gets outclassed by a lot of characters. She can’t even duel an Ana across the point. Her effective range is way too limited.

Buff bob. He needs a little more IQ atleast. He should be able to stop before going off the edge and he should shoot through mei ice walls if he doesn’t do so already. He also needs a stun

Things I want for Ashe:
Faster reload, like 2x faster than it is now, one animation reloads 2 bullets.
Bob needs to have some sort of fortify ability added to him. He just gets booped to oblivion. It’s fine that sombra can hack him or Ana can sleep him, I’m just tired of letting him out in one direction and he gets booped 20m and around the corner by Orisa/Lucio/Dva/Junkrat etc.
Also let Ashe stop him where she wants him to stop by pressing Q again. Sick of aiming for a low wall that should stop him, only to see him just ignore it, jump over it and and yeet himself off the map.

i think she is sort of like pharah. with a mercy or healer pocket she is very strong but w/o she is pretty weak
in other words she needs to be babysitted unless no one is focusing her at all
one of the reasons in overwatch 2 i enjoy playing sombra a lot more than ashe. i use to love ashe A LOT in overwatch 1 but i noticed in ow2 that i started to die with her a bit more. sombra is so self sufficient you dont have to worry about heals healing you lol

There’s not a single hitscan hero in this game that needs a buff.

Bastion is just never going to work imo. You make a giant sized DPS, who has insane damage output. You make him harder to kill? He’ll just be an annoyance and will probably be too strong.
You leave him as is? He’s just there to bother rein and monkey a lil bit basically.

I don’t think there’s two much you can change on Ashe because she’s balanced.
Maybe lower cd on the coach gun if the devs want to make her more mobile.
It can be an advantage with a LW. He can grip and lift him into a better position. It’s just pretty rare.
