Ashe just got a cold hard nerf, and it's not in the patchnote

Why isn’t it like this for other heroes like symm?

They dont get ult charge from BOB.

If you do this then you have to drastically increase the ult charge requirement because her barrier gives her a significant advantage for easily acquiring more charge. For example when you do things like line a wall with turrets and put the barrier over it so nobody can kill them. Her ult would charge ridiculously fast and she’d get another one in like 30 seconds

So its just bias, some heroes can others cant, good old blizz for ya.

I love you so much, Bill. UwU

The covert nerf they slipped in. And now that’s they’ve been called on it, play it off like it’s a bug.

Thanks for clarifying, i’m kinda dense sometimes.

And I thought that calling the Mercy damage boost a bug was me tapping into my inner conspiracy theorist.

Thank god some heroes do that and others do not huh?

Indeed. That is quite the relief.

Nobody gets ult charge from BOB anymore. I believe everyone did on PTR and maybe on release, but throwing a giant ult battery into the fight (for both allied supports and enemy DPS) is just a little unbalancing so he’s ult neutral now and has been for most of Ashe’s life.

OP make an rant trhead, and it’s only a bug lol

Bob takes a lot of time to charge, unless you hit scoped headshots only and get 6-man dynamite booms every time it’s off cooldown. And it’s not a powerful ult anyway.

On ladder she’s basically the best DPS in the game. 2.5% pickrate and 52% winrate does warrant a nerf of some kind.

Not really. Someone has to be “basically the best.” Once she becomes a problem, we can talk nerfs.

YOINK

lol no
shes balanced now, always thought it was quite unfair how she got free ult charge after summoning bob.
and ashe is doing poorly only on owl.

Minefields also have a fixed duration (20 seconds).
Dragonstrike also has a limit… I’m not sure if it’s set up as a distance limit, time limit, or map-edge limit but anyway, it doesn’t go on forever and it’s probably off the edge of the map in 20 seconds.

BOB is only his charge-in + 10 seconds. (I’m not sure how fast Bob runs, but lets say BOB is probably a <15 second max ult.)

I don’t think the rule has ever been “Ultimates don’t charge during ultimates”. I think the rule is more like a guideline and is something like “You don’t gain ult charge from your own ult”, so damage-dealing, self-buffing and enemy-debuffing ults don’t let you gain ult charge.

To be fair, he did say they’re working on a fix. So that implies that the current behavior (not getting ult charge) is the bug

That’s basically what I meant. Minefield is around long enough that it probably stops doing anything long before it’s technically gone. BOB is gone in 10 seconds, so there’s a pretty clear window of when he’s actively affecting the game.

In which case an ultimate that directly CCs enemies to set them up for you to kill should obviously not allow you to charge another one during its effect.
