She toggles aimbot which flicks onto people’s heads. I called them out and they start playing legit and occasionally turning it on, getting immediate headshot kills, then turning it off, as if it isn’t the most blatant cheater behaviour that every Minecraft kid does.
You aren’t aloud to post evidence of cheaters on forums otherwise the “pics or it didn’t happen” crew won’t be able to say it didn’t happen and you are just bad.
maybe? could have been a lucky spurt at the beginning…admittedly, they sure were landing a lot of headshots at the start…then as the game went on…not so much.
could have been, but i didnt see what looked to be an aimbot…perhaps a triggerbot set to favor headshots?
hard to tell.
i dont understand peoples fascination with cheating though? so you let software do the work for you…it’s not like you’re really doing anything… do these people that cheat really think they are good at the game? i guess i dont get it. Whats the point to cheat in a game?
Cheats commonly have a keybind system, people will toggle when you call them out to look legit. I’m in some cheating servers and they tell you to play legit and toggle it when you need to secure a kill.
It’s very obvious that they toggled, and then proceed to play legit which is why they got dominated. This happens in Overwatch and in CS2, it’s not new behaviour.
Its good to get a code. this means the acusator is open for other impression besides “I called him a cheater so it is one end all be all.”
Its easy to disregard these accusations. Or have you never been accused of aimbotting? I have, And that was in a gold lobby against people walking in straight lines into my crosshair.
a toddler can land these shots.
but they called me aimbotter because no way a widow will land 2-3 shots in a row.
While at the same time there might actually be real cheaters, some have already been identified by multiple reviews.
Therefore its good to go by “innocent until proven guilty” which is possible with codes like we got here.
On a different Note, imagine a GM makes a new account and to dial his settings he goes into ffa mirrored heroes and absolutely stomps with like 50-7 against second place 26-20
everyone will think he is a cheater and using aimbots, while he is just good at clicking heads, much much better than the others in the lobby. If they believe he is the same rank in a unranked mode, he must be cheating right?
They do. A lot of these people will excuse it as everyone at the top end cheats and they are just leveling the playing field.
It’s delusional of course. If these players could accept that they are not as good as they think they are, they would be able to potentially work towards improving or at least be okay with not being an amazing player.
I get accused of cheating on Widow at least once a day. Cheating sounds extremely boring. I have almost 500hrs on her.
With that said, if this is cheating, then I don’t want it. I was gonna say, sometimes it takes a moment to warm up during a given match, but this was all over the place. It’s not abnormal for someone to miss shots, then suddenly be able to shoot. I do it all the time. This could easily be due to trying to adjust DPI via single mouse button to see what feels best at the moment, or even something as simple as warming up.
On the other than, I sometimes am doing really well, then when people notice, I start freaking out and getting shaky-handed. Controlling my nerves is directly proportional to how well I shoot. I can go from missing everything, to hitting everything, to missing everything in as a little as an hour. This is especially true if im constantly switching off of widow to other characters
It is probably more likely that people are legit than cheating in most cases.
