I’m currently using widowmaker 4 sense, 800dpi with 25 on zoom, how would I translate that to ashes ADS? I just want the ADS zoom to be relative to that of my widow zoom.

I’m not sure what 25 zoom would be translated to Ashe’s scope sens, but you can start at Ashe’s 1:1 sensitivity of about 51.44 and work your way down from there. Widow’s 1:1 is about 37.94 if that helps you at all.

Thanks, I can work a % of that. But wtf, 51.44 and 37.94? That’s really random numbers. It must have something to do with the ingame sense?
I don’t know the math, but some poor souls on reddit figured out that Ashe’s FOV when zoomed is 65.8 degrees and actually started counting pixels.

I don’t know translations but I have Ashes scope about 20 more than main sensitivity
I have used Widow on 38 for a while, Ashe felt right at 50.

You can caveman it in the training range. Stand 40 meters from the bot at the edge of the map and use the health bars as a gauge, Ashe’s ads take off about 10 meters. From there just get your flick where you are comfortable.
The zoom number is a percentage. So if your Widow is 25 maybe Ashe 35-38ish.

Don’t worry about what “the right” number for zoom sense is. There is no exact number that is right, it’s preference and works differently on different monitors. I just adjust it till I get something that feels like 1:1 to me and since I’ve been doing that, it’s been working a lot better for me than going off the exact number people recommend.
Does it mess up your muscle memory though?
I had widow on 30 scoped (am widow main), then played basically only Ashe since she came out, had her on 30 scoped too.
Now I feel like Ashe is perfect but Widow is too fast…
I think I should have put Ashe on 40 to make her more consistently similar to my widow muscle memory.

It’s what I use and I think it helps to only have to worry about the motion of your gun rather than gun while hip fire and gun while scoped. Your intuition gets much more accurate. This should be default imo, Killing Floor has a slider that defaults to 100 and that’s 100%. Meaning scope is same.
Yeah this is my exact concern. I want my muscle memory to stay intact, and I wish that equal settings (relative to zoom) will preserve that.
