I just hope devs see these forums and make Aqua, the next support hero to be able to counter flying heroes easily.
Due to dyspraxia my aim isn’t very good and lately it actually gets worse due to lifting etc.
I can’t find any way to counter Pharah. My only solutions are Moira and maybe Juno’s Torpedo.
With Ana and Bap i (tested hundreds of times) cannot do anything to her.
Any suggestion you wanna give?
I’m a support and Pharah is not fun. You either play a support like Ana/Bap or you’re stuck going Mercy and instead of playing Overwatch, you get to pocket a hitscan until next game.
No i actually No1 pick for my bans is Pharah, no2 Sombra, no3 Widowmaker, since i can’t counter these 3
Mercy isn’t my problem in this, Pharah is. Even Pharah without mercy is destroying me since i can’t hit her
with Zen you’re relying more on your team to see the purple orb, so if they have no awareness, you’re on your own
Moiras mobility can be used to dodge her attacks, or fade into where pharahs retreating to confirm the kill. And when they don’t see where your damage orb is coming from, some pharahs panic and try to hide
Unlucky. Best you can do is focus-heal whoever Pharah is shooting at while staying out of sight. Something with big constant throughput. Ana is still a good pick here even if you can’t hit enemies because of her larger team-hitboxes. If that’s too mechanically demanding as well, Kiriko and pre-heal. Wouldn’t go for Moira because you can’t hide and your resource runs out.
I mean there is no answer for you that you’d like to hear. Because the correct answer is go ana and hit the hitscan shots on her. But that doesn’t seem possible. So there isn’t a solution for you sadly. Nor is there a way to fix it since the reason you can’t is personal. I’m sorry I hope I’m not coming off rude or mean. But the game can’t account for the disability really. Nor can the the game be balanced for you. They could add a hero that has dps turrets but that exists in torb and sun already. And it wouldn’t be a very support based power to have a dps turret.
hey bro I have some advice for you but I dont want to tell t he whole forum. If you wat to add me ingame gnarly #11277
since everyone thinks im weird now im telling you my inches per 360, monitor distance, and going to tell you thee best aiming video ever made, which will change the way you think about aiming forever.
She’s pretty easy to shoot down with Bap. With Moira, you wait for her to run out of flight and bum rush her. Mercy can Valk her to death, though not a great use of her ult to do so.
supports dont have to be able to deal easily with every characters in the game i swear…(even tough ana/bapt/juno are pretty easy to play against a phara)
You counter her with hitscan. Ana Bap Juno, Zen if you’re good with him and discord def helps dps deal with her.
I’m sorry that sucks but blizzard doesn’t owe you a way to deal with them. The way is there, it may be harder for you to do but it’s not impossible. Practice improves skills even for people with unfortunate disabilities. I get flairs of inflammation which cause tremors and can effect my aim, but it’s just something I have to deal with. I don’t expect blizzard to cater to me and I wouldn’t want that, especially when there’s already accessible heroes like moira.
Positioning. I’m very sorry about your struggle with dyspraxia but the biggest thing with dealing with phara is pressure and positioning.
Even if it’s a struggle trying to deal a bit of damage can pressure away phara. She’s very squishy and will play from cover in predictable angles which can help settle your crosshair.
as for positioning play cover to cover and avoid open areas, surviving her pressure removes her value and helps your team
