As an Ana main i would like to learn some dps

Hey i main ana and am wondering what would be a decent dps for me to start practicing.
i mainly play ana/mercy/lucio/hog/winston and with the occasional sombra, would like another dps to learn

When you nanoboost your teammates, who do you prefer to nanoboost? Or do you just go by whatever is happening situationally? I only started experimenting with DPS heroes after I saw how much fun people have when they get nanoboosted and pop off.

I’d say try another sniper hero or Genji. Genji has a learning curve and is pretty different from the other heroes, but he’s typically a good pick and is fun to play as.

ok, generally when i nano i just nano a tank so they get ult charge, or i wait a bit if a dps or something is like 20% off of ult.

Ive never really come to learn to play genji, ive always found him quite difficult, time to practice :smiley:

I’d recommend you trying McCree and Ashe, they have some similarities with Ana and moreover Ashe even comes with an ads ability.

ok sounds alright, since mcree has a pretty similiar kit to ana

If you are more on the sniping side of ana, then widow.

I am not great at Genji by any means but he is challenging and fun. His kit design is actually pretty genius if you ask me.

And like Punisher said, Ashe is also a good option. She has a pretty solid kit and with heroes like McCree and Ashe, there is definitely potential for transferable skill so you wouldn’t be struggling too much.

i mainly use unscoped, i generally have a worse accuracy with scope

Any of the characters needing accuracy should be good. Even if you fight unscoped Ana is an accuracy based character. I personally suggest Mei as he secondary attack requires skill and her main attack punishes people for getting too close.

k sounds good, ill probably be playing some more genji cos ive wanted to learn him for a while but never come to it. I just heard he is quite mechanicly difficult so it might be some time before i get the hang of him tbh. If that doesnt work out ill probably go mei

Genji is a good choice. His ult is one of the more powerful ones in the game, he has insane movement abilities, and like ana hitting something with him can be very difficult. (Atleast while you are moving around.)

Play the heros that give you the most trouble when you are playing Ana.

Try all the heroes? It’s pretty much what QP is for.

If you like using unscope maybe try a projectile hero like Mei or Hanzo.

Both are pretty good, mei is more on the strategic side and hanzo is more aim intensive.

I mainly play Ana as well but when I DPS I prefer to go Sombra. She has a lot of complexity that makes her really interesting to play.

Ashe is also a good option since the aiming seems to feel similar.
