it suffers . people just dont want to play like a team. No one using voice chat. No one wants to group up. what are you supposed todo. They got rid of group finder.

You don’t need voice.
And all you have to do is stop and wait and walk with someone (preferably the tank). If others fail to do that, that’s on them not you.

i disagree. every sports/team activity in this world utilizes voice and to not use voice puts you at a huge disadvantage which in my book is throwing. If people are toxic you can always mute them. team activities require teamwork

You’re not in a high enough rank to be worrying about anything other than focus on yourself.
Stick with your tank, keep it simple. Die less, add more value.
Having climbed from bronze to dipping a toe in GM. The last thing you need is bronze comms.

If you want people to use voice comms and play more as a team you most likely will need to start playing comp gold rank and up. QP has never really been organized enough to get players to use voice I even dont use it in qp when im warming up. Its just not a mode that requires that lvl of awareness. Now if I play with my friends we always play on coms and its almost always a stomp. But like wetwipe said there are too many babies in qp or even bronze and they will whine at everyone but themselves and think they are never the problem. This has happened to me soo much I actually refuse to talk until someone else speaks up or actually says something useful on their mic and then and only then will i help out and respond back.

You’re playing a video game. Not a real sport.
This just requires base level cooperation. Which can be achieved without Comms. Simply just stick with your team mates.

What I normally do is go into comms with open mic, if everyone is there perfect if not tell people to join in text chat. Normally most people will join and then just lead. This probably works best in lower ranks but higher ranks prob use comms more so. I will normally just commentate the entire game. Sombra back line, Zen low, help Ana… etc. all. game. It’s a little annoying but the difference it makes is… wow. Granted I normally play Sombra or Supports so I’m able to keep an eye on everyone pretty well but yknow. Even if you can’t commentate the entire game, giving your teammates more info normally helps, but thats just me. It gets a little tiring doing it every game however once in a while someone else will talk so its fun sometimes.

Yes, Be my friend. If you cant tell when people are playing together and people are not then I dont know what to tell you. I can easily tell and know when im going to lose a game within 30 seconds of starting it by how people behave. When people communicate my win percentage goes up significantly, the simple act of joining team chat increases win percentage. Why should I have to suffer due to peoples selfishness in a TEAM game…
That’s one of the reasons I ask people to come to voice chat, I don’t ask them to talk if they don’t want to, but sometimes I need them to listen as I see them rushing separately to get punished by the enemy DPS, or using a hitscan to rain bullets upon their tank without killing the support first
And on multiple occasions I witnessed, when such teammates joined and listened, we performed better as a team,

As long as people use the pings and voice lines, you’ll get similar results.
Don’t listen to Wetwipes, he’s paid to Gaslight you. Yeah it sucks, This game is focused more on Team Play instead of being individual, it really is frustrating. No one likes to communicate since 1 wrong word or trash talk (too funny) can lead you to be muted which is really stupid.
