Every hero they add just is so op in one way or another this time it’s ridiculous amount of damage with Ashe before stun the boops then rework that are all tank killing reworks btw buffs to heros who are tank busters then no new tanks this game,is making me not want to play it anymore i love this game i love tanking but the 141 picks suck always 4 or 5 dps no tank help maybe a healer and lesser so a main healer i play less and less time everytime i get on

Well, the next two heroes are going to be a Tank and a Healer probably.

And Doomfist/Brigitte CC got nerfed hard.

They might not have added tanks, but tanks have never been more viable than they are right now.

In particular, I love that Roadhog feels genuinely good to play now.

And they could definitely make Orisa a bit better. So shield tanking doesn’t feel like “Reinhardt duty”.

Ehh, the problem i find with main tanks is that they can’t function well without healers since they have no regen of their own compared to d.va getting her mecha back or roadhog’s take a breather, if you don’t enjoy main tank anymore then try another role, also the recent nerfs remove a lot of the prominent CC so there’s that.

That said, you seem to have very little time on Orisa, but an amazing amount of time on Rein.

I HIGHLY suggest learning Orisa, because she’s currently fantastic for quickplay meta, versus a ton of snipers.

Also both her fortify and haltbubble instant stop a charging BOB from running forward.
And her rifle with headshots can shred a Bob in no-time while you are behind the safety of your shield.
Or just pull Bob around a corner, and ignore him.
(Also Orisa is the perfect shield for BOB and a great target for your ultimate, and your fortify protects him from enemy Reins)

And of course, Fortify is literally a “I don’t want to deal with your CC” button.

The only real difficulty is that she’s not nearly as good at killing Brigitte. But if you stall her out by shooting, halting, shooting, fortify,shooting,shielddancing. You should be able to chew her up.

I actually have just started playing her my game lags so much I couldn’t aim but now I’ve upgraded my computer quite a bit so I can aim she’s very fun to play.

Tanks are better than most of the dps right now. Half of the tank roster has a lower TTK than heros like Symmetra or Mei, and the tank buster (reaper) can’t even touch most of them besides roadhog.

I think you’re exaggerating. Coming from a support/tank flex player, think of how many times we’ve cycled through various forms of triple tank metas and think how many times we’ve had triple dps metas.

If you’re talking about quickplay then I too recommend grinding Orisa. Ranged damage plus a shield is just something most qp players can’t deal with very well…

Why would you be done? We’re literally in a meta where only tanks and supports are viable at the top play (aside from Sombra who happens to counter main tanks) and even DF was nerfed to the ground.

Ya’ll the top play has a diffrent meta then the rest of the game comp or qp im solo tanking every match so dont come at me with that meta talk im not in the owl or masters rank so the meta is what ever the rest of the team feels like trying with me trying to figure out what main tank and getting cc damged to death or sniped from all angles with no one countering

Exactly. I understand what you say bro. Let me rephrase so everyone else can understand your non-punctuating statement too.

Ya’ll, the metas exist and dominate play of the game in the top ladder, but that’s only really applying to Master+ rank. The great majority of players aren’t dictated by metas because we play whatever we feel like playing, and hell with it if it isn’t “meta”.

So don’t come at me with that meta talk if I’m not in the OWL or Master+ rank bro.

We sometimes don’t even bother trying to counter the enemy team, because we just play what we feel like playing, and if it works then great, if it doesn’t, oh well. And again, this applies to a great majority of the player base, pretty much every game below rank Masters. Deal with it.
