i thought the devs are improving the matchmaking in ranked? got steamrolled by the same tank 3 times in a row and cant do anything against it as a support… and in general, seeing that my DPS aren’t grouping up at all, even when i write several times to wait and group up and can’t do anything about it other then try to healbot them and die… this game never felt so bad like right now

silver elo LMAO, hardstuck since ever and idk how to climb ranks when i got steamrolled like every 3. match or have the craziest teammates who staggers all the time and play like their complete newbies
Don’t solo queue as Mercy, that is a rookie mistake my friend. Play Baptiste, he is the easiest support to climb with once you get a hold of him also pick Juno she is still the best support by far!
thank you! i noticed that with mercy its almost impossible to climb, tried to rank in with juno where she was new and yea, silver again lmao, now i try my best with kiriko/ana/moira but i guess i need some qp games with bap to learn him
Here’s an unfortunate truth, in Silver most players don’t deserve any heals. I’d go DPS support and only heal them after a fight. Healing some fool who can’t get an elim even with a pocket is a losing strategy. The same goes for the tank. Unless the tank is actually acting like a tank, don’t prioritize healing them either.
Once in a while you’ll get a DPS teammate who deserves some support, when you find them, pocket the heck out of them, you will easily win the match.
lmao yea, i tried many matches with some friends where i know, one of them is a good tank and try to pocket him all the time but yea, still got steamrolled many times
Stay away from using mercy… heal bot wont do anything for you… Moira n ana are good choices… i used moira to place in plat… balance ur heals with damage… straight up heals does nothing for ur team… its ok to be aggressive just dnt get urself in a pickle lol

Dude you dont have room to blame your team when ur stuck in silver
i try my best with moira to do damage and pressure the DPS and heal as much as i can, got one match with 10k heal and damage and more than 50 kills (3 - 2 payload) and it barely even gave me 20%, meanwhile one good tank match (idk the stats anymore) gave me 65% lol, i will never understand this game

you should really learn some Baptiste. You shouldn’t trust your dps or other support, and you should fully expect to baby your tank while doing the other support’s job, 2 dps’s job, and making ur tank’s life paradise.
Only Bap can do this easily.

i refuse to play anything but support comp lol.
like vacation but paid. 
just don’t healbot and ideally land hs.
this season especially support feels completely random if we win, either i have the most healing and damage in the lobby and the rest of my team is negative and we lose or im stuck on payload all game cause my tank has them trapped in spawn i swear it wasnt like this before
