It reminds me of the end of ‘Momma Mia’ when Colin Firth’s character suddenly announces he’s gay halfway through the last song and makes out with some young dude in his 20s.
Someone coming out played as a joke.
Here, I’m not upset he’s gay. I’m kind of upset he sits around pining over lost loves like a teenage girl when he seemed like an older, mature character.
