Then isn’t it fantastic that she was originally released as a tank/support hybrid then. I mean, why not. We already had Zen who is a DPS/Support hybrid. I don’t see anyone complaining about Zen getting kills.

Usually… but I honestly never see people complaining about Zen getting kills. Moira? All the time. Baptiste? Yep. Brigitte? oh yeah. But Zen… for some reason no. I don’t know why. Maybe because people realize he’s barely a support.

Sure… in the context of in OWL in GOATS comp.
Last I checked that composition has basically been banned from the game because of the 2-2-2 lock. We don’t know if old tanky Brigitte would be OP, Fine, or something else in the context of current 2-2-2 locked Overwatch.
Yeah, Brig isn’t bad.
The shield working as soon as the visual is up is all I want. Otherwise, I can make her work, I can find her uses, and I know I cannot use her in multiple scenarios. Mainly to counter dive heroes.

they’ve reduced hitboxes on bash and whipshot and since we’re talking about hypermobile heroes, the argument of “just land shots4head” becomes more and more unreasonable. like if “just land shot4head” was actually a reasonable argument in the first place, brig’s entire concept of as a hero wouldn’t be needed in the first place.
do the dps that don’t typically have viability problems need the team to support them to the same level as brig in order to get kills? no.
heck even for a lot of other support utility the user has more agency over their value e.g. zen, ana and bap can boost their other shots (whether for damage or heals), ana can capitalise on her own anti’s, etc.
can brig do something analogous with her cc? nope. even if she lands a cc on a flanker or dive tank, she’s go little damage to actually threaten them out, not to mention how easily kite-able she is. heck she can’t even keep up with heals (esp when playing passively) if the team keeps sponging up damage which is a phenomenon that’s much easier to achieve with brig due to her packs being hard cd bound unlike the other supports’ methods which have really high uptime (as weapon fires, passive always up auras, etc.) and many teams play spread out which makes being in range of whipshot questionable (let alone having an angle that’s not obstructed by shields and travel time increasing variance).
Brig is pretty strong but the way they’ve done it has made her ideal playstyle pretty darn boring now. In a nutshell, you sit in the backline next to your other support, spamming(mostly spamming) repair pack on teammates, and waiting for the dive or flank from the enemy. So spam and wait.

Big difference between not maining a hero and literally having 0 playtime on her. You need to at least regularly play a hero in the current meta before you can comment on the state of them.
Well first off you’ve just broken the CoC and I am reporting you. Second off, like I keep explaining she is not bad. No support is bad. She’s just clearly the worst as she is not the best pick in any scenario unless it’s a niche dive comp.
Literally ask anyone diamond and above if Brig is good with dive and double shield and majority of them will say she is great and she is alright with brawl.
She is excellent with 2 comps and alright with one and only real bad against hard spam.
You just suck and that’s why you think Brig is bad sorry to break it to you.
