Really, I can’t understand what is the reason or what were you thinking when you patch McCree the last time. I can’t even count the amount of messages in the chat room, all complain the same: McCree is not broken, it over that.
Long stunt, very quick fire and the famous McRightClick. Como on, please, uncheate him.
It could be interesting. There’s some chance he’ll at least work as a counter to Pharah now, if nothing else. Normally every team that tries it has to switch off of him.
Not saying he is op, but the buff made him really, REALLY strong
if he werent picked its probably bc they ignored his actual issues and just added a buff that was unecesary
It’ll really come down to how he fares vs. Widowmaker. I don’t mean 1v1’s as much as I mean is he able to do more work overall with his high close range damage and CC.
It’ll depend on the range and if they have a barrier to prevent mccrees head from beeing blown off
But OWL is still with GOATS i think so we may see a resurgence of mccree to harass the tanks from long range, maybe he could bring mercy back for the boost, a pocketed mccree is scary
There is no evidence of any more progress made to a 2-2-2 restriction lock, therefore there are no rumors to be had. If anything it’s factiods made by random people on the forums and Twitter that those in favor of it are clinging to.
I meant in the OWL context (replying to your previous post’s comment). He was always… okay in ladder play, against Pharah, since teams aren’t that coordinated.
OWL teams end up relying on Moira/Ana/D.va instead. We’ve even seen Shock leave spawn with McCree and immediately go back to switch to Moira because they saw a Pharah.
Maybe/hopefully the buff will push him over the edge to where he can at least fulfill that one purpose at the top level—the skill level where he theoretically should be strongest as a highly mechanical character.
It seems that our separate viewing experiences is what makes our opinions different. Most matches I watch are typically Houston and Dallas matches, and in (what feels like) many cases, tight maps with tall buildings (with the exception of Widow city King’s Row), they’ve utilized a McCree in their defense.
Probably true; I don’t typically watch Outlaws or Fuel’s matches. I’ve seen McCree used occasionally, but I can’t recall seeing him win a round this year.
