I know Im pretty excited! The Spotlight footage looked great! The ability to switch from 1st person to 3rd person, on-the-fly?! Now thats pretty dang cool

Indifferent tbh but I’ll try them. The only thing I like about 3rd person is increased vision of the battlefield

You can switch on the fly? Welp, I prefer first person, but everytime I do a corner alone imma go tps then. But then, others are gonna have an advantage over me like that too, and thats lame. You know how many poor bastards dont see the Pyslocke combo trap thats coming bc I can see them approaching but they cant see me?
Ngl, I think third person is a huge mistake. Normally I am in favor of them giving players more options, but third person actually gives a pretty huge perspective advantage to see around walls/corners. The game was designed as a first person shooter and should be played that way without being put at a disadvantage.
A few exceptions are fine for things like Rein holding up his barrier or Hammond in ball form, but should not be a blanket perspective mode for all heroes at all times.

Its my understanding, yes. But maybe its a perk? 
From what I understand with the devs talking to streamers at the event is you can’t currently swap between 1st and 3rd person with the mode, you set what you want in the settings. But they are looking to change that before it releases probably which makes more sense. (Or they already made that change and that dev didn’t know yet, I haven’t seen the test play of the mode yet)

Hmmm, Ok. Still in the works/undecided then…
Emongg was asking if the 3rd person view could be extended to other modes if it’s liked, and the answer was pretty much wait and see how it works out first. Then he asked if it was toggle-able and they said not as of yet but working on it.
