nah they won’t ever do anything about it, if streamers start getting banned that is GG for this game. then they would have to ban all alt accts. no questions. would kill the game for sure.

and if you get unlucky and meet enemy smurfs game after game? how do you climb then ? is that fun ? is that healthy for the game ? smurfing in ANY form should be banable.

I love all the pro content creators that keep saying “Playerbase is a bunch of IDIOTS if they were good they’d just WIN against the smurfs it’s a non-issue they just need how to learn to play” meanwhile the doomfist with the racial slur username and the top 500 title is in my bronze 5 game spamming death threats and extremely illegal, lock-you-in-a-prison-in-brazil-for-life content and reporting me so I get banned instead.

Just don’t play anymore it’s not worth it. Every game this season has been a spawn camp, I have not played a game where multiple minutes went by of being spawn camped by some smurf. Smurfing makes a ****load of money for content creators because wayward players that get destroyed pay real money for coaching advice and tips for these streams, when in reality the problem is Blizzard doesn’t IP ban these people and force them into a career line where harming others doesn’t make them $$$. Pathetic.

  2. What did you do on your own? Did you dedicate yourself to raise your skill and have your u2GM examine done at least one time to be vocal about it? What right do you have to complain about what others do in game if you are not even investing? Instead of wasting time on forum, having no skill, which is your main issue with these u2GM, you’d be better watching these u2GM and learn how to stomp and develop your own skill. But keep it easy way and just complain and wait when the problem disappears by itself, it won’t, trust me. You make up this problem by thinking that being low rank or casual player is fine. No, it is not, if you complain. Now you see this.

That is not even smurf issue, that is head issue that has nothing to do with challenges, content or skill. And the more you react on that and reveal on forum, the more they will do that. These slurs should not hit you that hard to complain about that. Don’t be soft, it is freaking internet. He won’t say that in face for sure or he loses his own. And he knows that, why don’t you understand that? A strong player never talks like that constantly. I smurf last 4 years, and see no reason in moking these players unless they start talking trash by themselves. It is my way of spending my time, and if it ruins your experience or claims like that, then you should understand that you are in charge of your own experience and nobody else. This is why GIT GID is the best factual statement here that can not be denied. You can be stubborn on that, but this won’t help you. Unlike getting good at the game.

Unranked to GM isn’t even against the rules.

Any new account unless they’re playing absolutely garbo usually places anywhere between silver and Plat depending on their luck on placements.

Then as you play the game you rank up, there’s even a mitigating factor of if you’re playing TOO well for your rank it bumps your internal MMR and SR up to get you to where you should be.

Most of these streamers who do ‘UR to GM’ usually do it with educational content in mind even if it’s not explained properly. Watch the replays of those games you lose where you think there’s a ‘smurf’ it’s essentially free coaching or better still look up hero guides.

Smurfs exist yes but not in the quantity people think they do.

Most of the time it is just a diff or a skill issue or even more so your own mental wellbeing. Finding blame in everyone else but yourself is the reason you don’t actually climb. Stop trying to blame your team or coach your team and coach yourself.

There is no excuse for racist btags or abuse either. Just report, block, avoid and move on don’t answer them and if they start mute them in chat.

So you are more likely to be against one than have one on your team if you’re playing DPS.

Streamers are what kind of keeping audiences interested in playing this game. Unranked to GM has more people streaming this content and is why Blizzard most likely did away with the Phone number requirement on new accounts so they can continue to make this content. It does suck because Smurf accounts ruin the game.
