I am sometimes, like yesterday, I was playing Reaper on the Temple of Anubis, doing Reaper things, and i just killed a lonely Bastion while i was flanking, then moments later the enemy Mercy shows up clearly wanting to res the Bastion, but then she saw me, and i think we both knew that i wasn’t gonna let her res him, yet neither of us attacked one another, so instead we waved “Hi!” to each other and then went back to our teams 
And of course i always try to be friendly while in skirmishes 
Are there any times where you find yourself being nice to the enemy?

When I’m cornered, and they’re about to kill me. I try to pacify them with a “Hi”. It sometimes works!
It reminds me of the perk in Fallout. Where you could pacify a creature or a human. LMAO.

when i play moira i like to befriend the enemy moira.
we just go “same hat!” and say hi to eachother and go on our way
edit: once i met another lúcio and we had the exact same skin, gold gun, voice lines, and emotes. we danced with eachother the entire game. both teams were down their lúcios, so it was fair :^)

I always wave hi to the enemy Rein when we are both keeping our baby ducks hidden behind us. It cracks me up to hear the enemy rein’s “HELLO!” underneath all of the gunfire.

Haha! i did that once as Symmetra and it worked, i was cornered by a Reinhardt while low on Health so i just put my spray down right next to him and said Hi, then he said Hi back and let me go, it was nice of him.

One time, defending last point in hanamoura, I slingshotted as Mercy out of position outside the building next to the hut with the mega health pack.
Reaper immedietly saw me and started shooting so I panicked and used my dance emote.
He brought me down to 10 hp, then stared dead into my eyes as I danced and joined me with his dance emote until the game finished. Good times.

Nah. When the wife and I play Overwatch, it’s just as often for fun as to let off some steam. So, if we see the enemy, whether in Skirmish or a game mode, one side is gonna die.

its EXTREMELY rare…like the whole time i’ve been playing OW, i’ve done it like 2-3 times
and one or two of them it didn’t last the whole match…it was kinda like “okay enough fooling around, you die now” kinda thing
but there was one match we was both dva, everytime we meet up, we’d stop look at each other, and wave “hi”…it was kinda fun/funny…but like i said that was like once in like all the games i’ve played

Had a match not to long ago in the Lunar Colony where the enemy team got wiped except for the Lone Hog. Well my team was ahead camping spawn and I stayed behind to defend objective A.
Hog came up behind me, hooked me, but didnt kill me. I said gday mate and he said hi. He gave me a thumbs up and I let him have the point lol
The rest of the match we just kinda did potshots to each other and spared one another when we saw each other.
My team thought it was funny his team was not amused lol I have so many friendly hog stories I could make a thread about it lol

sometimes I will just say something like NS when I watch killcam and the widow hits a sick flick or something, or maybe a “nice ult” to a genji blade or “fat shatter” when rein gets a big one. whenever I see a cool play, whether from my team or enemy, I’ll usually type a couple words in chat

Haha that’s funny! i always try to do the same thing after being nice to an enemy, avoid shooting them and what not, unless they start actually trying to kill me, then its war once again! lol.

They are the enemy team when i see a red boarder i dont care i will kill it that is one less player on the enemy team so it will be easier for me team to push, i play a game to win not to be happy go lucky with the enemy team

Oh man all the time!
My favorite thing is when the enemy is, for some reason, completely stationary. Perhaps they were flanking and needed to type something and I happened upon them. I’ll stare at them and crouch/say hello until they respond. I end up dead about half the time, but the other half is completely friendly gestures! I’ve walked with my enemy back to the objective before, neither of us harming the other lol.

Its just throwing imo. If i see enemies,i try to kill them. Only time im friendly is when the match doesnt start because there are not enough players. In that case im friendly 90% of the time.
The classic wave and hope they wave back thing but!
One time a few months ago I was playing Mccee or so and the enemy dva was trying really hard to wave and not kill someone.
It was on eichenwalde i was on attack. I felt really sorry for her so I switched to dva. We both had the same emotes and voicwlines too and then we both sat on the little wooden support at the gate and just danced and played games.
Additionally we both ulted us at the same time just for fun.
Luckily both teams were totally chill with it, and even joined in for a little bit now and then.
