Are we going to see any Pharah changes soon?

And don’t forget if you’re on offense and they have no hitscans, you automatically win that first point.

Not true in any way hitscans aside high elo players know how to deal with pharah regardless of there hero comps she never runs rampant and uncontested like she does in low elo

She had just shy of a 19% pick rate during the world cup. Typically tiers are tournament based, so since that is the most recent one she technically is D-tier because C-tier is 20%. So, she’s on the bubble, but pretty safe from F-tier which is anything under 5%.

I was using overall pick rate because most players are gold, so I was making the point that for most of the player base she was OK. But if we want only high level play then the world cup still has her in a better place than quite a few heroes.

We don’t play in the pro scene tho
Yeah, I think she can work, I main her, but organized play is very different
Ladder was stuck and complaining about Hanzo Zarya Brig meta and that was seen very little at OWL in comparison

If there are no good map geometry, Pharah needs her team to push up through chokes so she isn’t contested when flying in the open and that’s a coinflip on ladder. (you can also go through risky flanks and challenge their hitscans directly, but yeah, you are pretty much 1v6ing if the enemy team can peel)

For the love of yourself, don’t make her stronger in lower ranks.

that’s the fault of the playerbase, though

pharah is by design a situational hero and she’s absolutely not weak, and buffing her to be more applicable elsewhere can break her where she already shines (koth, eichenwalde a, rialto)

balancing a hero on the fact that your team may or may not be coordinated is asking too much

well that’s coordinated play vs matchmaking she’s always been better with coordination but at the very least we are argeeing she’s D tier nuff said

Whatever happens I just hope console does not get balanced differently from PC! Pharah is really fine on console and can handle any changes PC gets.

well the mercy players must be very shocked.

pocketing pharah was a nice niche… if they take this away from mercy there is even less reasons to run her.

Glad to see you change a hero that doesn’t really need changes at all and keep ignoring the trash tier heroes.

Literally why change a hero with healthy pickrate and winrate and situation ally very good in some maps that are arguably she’s top tier pick in.

If she get’s a buff I’ll prob play her instead of ground Pharah (symm)… atleast Pharah works

Please don’t buff her on PS4.

You guys who are scared of her becoming OP are overreacting. I think we all know her damage numbers are fine. Even I myself as a 400 hour Pharah main agree her rocket damage should not be touched. They’re most likely going to give her some survivability changes like a divedown mechanic or cancelable barrage or part of her HP as armor.

So the world’s not gonna end, her damage and killing output will most likely be the exact same it has always been since launch

The last thing the world wants is a buffed Pharah. At lower elo’s she is a terror and a good one will just dominate matches. She finally got reigned in with the fall-off changes.

Why buff Pharah?
She is one of the only hero’s who hasn’t been punished by the power creep.
Her extensive range has kept her out of the stun meta.

If any changes are to be made to the game it is removing the majority of the stun.
What is not needed is tinkering with heroes that are already a solid option in many circumstances. Pharah is actually BALANCED.

Pick rate is terrible stat to base arguments on. (I fall into this trap too)
It is 99% controlled by the human limbic system.
You play what you like, what your teammates like, and what the “culture” likes.
It has very little to do with actually analyzation of effectiveness.

The culture of “throwing” because of a bad team comp has a bigger influence on pick rate then any other factor imho.

Pharah has S-tier damage. It is consistent and deadly.
The only people that compare are Bastion-turret, Hanzo and Junkrat.
None of them have the mobility or flexibility to apply that damage like pharah does.

Hanzo should not be on this list. Look how ODD he is compared to the others.
A walking Gun, A walking Bomb, and a walking Rocket. WAIT i get it. EXPLOSIONS! A Recurve bow? hmmm… something…doesn’t…fit.

And she literally FLIES.

Why does she need more when so many need less?
