Are there no new hero looks for this beta?

I am watching some OW2 beta gameplay right now on twitch, and so far i don’t see any new hero looks for any of the heroes.

Not even Lucio’s, not even Reinhardt’s or Genji’s? These were ready back at like blizzcon 2019, sooo what gives?

I thought only “some” of the new looks wouldn’t be ready for this beta… like doom and orisa’s… But not “all” of them wouldn’t be ready.

Not complaining, as these obviously have no impact on the actual gameplay but… I wonder why they’re not in this beta? I find it kind of weird…

Thoughts?

Good question

Maybe those are considered skins and the classic looks will just still be the standard “no skin” look? The PvE side will undoubtedly use the new looks as default, but maybe there’s just weird technical stuff here

Necros tried to use the Genji one, but it wasn’t there. So I’m guessing no, which is rather silly.

To answer the question:

So the new looks is confirmed not available in the beta.

(That means i’m not going to see Mercy’s karen haircut anytime soon :laughing:)
