Are the flashpoint maps too big for no minimap?

I was very unlucky in my first few flashpoint games having both 130 ping or more and being matchmaked against grandmaster players which sucks cuz I’m just a gold silver player and it was essentially just like dead by daylight.

I got lost trying to find the objective multiple times also trying to find my own spawn point after losing an objective but being the last person alive on my team. I’m trying to go back to switch characters can’t find it but for some reason the enemy teams spawn is labeled? Do the spawns points move when there’s a new objective or is it always the same spawn?

This is why I feel like the flashpoint maps specifically need a minimap. Like a translucent minimap like in the top left corner or something like Heroes of the Storm, or League of Legends, valorant, and Call of Duty does. Specifically since this game mode is similar to the one in paladins and similar to control points in Call of Duty A.B.C. you need to know which one is under control by which team, where to try and plan your defense next even though the point seem to be completely random etc.

The respawn in Narnia distance seems like push all over again.
Push levels of stagger and walking sim, except now from different angles and directions.
Slow non-mobile hero? What a hike.

I do like the mode and the new maps are really fun.
But there were moments were my teammate outlines were 2pixels large.

it’s koth but:

  • fixed: waiting too long in the spawn between rounds
  • new problem: now you spend 33% of the game walking instead

its a bad mode, i genuinely dont know who asked for this, its koth without the load times, but you spend half the match walking

Maybe add a temporary movement speed buff when you respawn,and have it end early if you use a movement ability so heroes who are already mobile don’t benefit from it.

That’s what I’m thinking because if you’re on the losing team and your team isn’t regrouping and you aren’t pushing in it was one and you don’t have a shield and you’re just getting bullet hell fire down on you You’re just dead like almost half the game. Then walking back to the point and then potentially not making it to the point within the like 12 to 15% from wherever the hell to spawn is before the point is captured and if the spawn is 100 m away I don’t know how long it takes to get to the point with that many seconds with that percent you know what I’m saying?
