Do you think the devs are going to nerf GOATS heroes more in an attempt to kill 3-3 at the highest levels?
No matter what the enemy plays, teams often just stick to 3-3 and win anyways.
What do you think they will buff/nerf next? Or are they finished and the pro meta will always be primarily GOATS?
The devs don’t want to completely trash GOATS, they just want it to not be so dominant. We are seeing more variety in OWL matches so the devs may see it as a success for the time being.

Can counter GOATs without feeding it, as GOATs stink against range.
And won’t shift META as severely (a claim I don’t agree with) as Brigitte did when she counters Dive.

Vancouver is the best team. They can win with whatever they want and they’re good at Goats, so why would they change?
Just guessing, but possibly because GOATS lacks vertical mobility and range? Aside from Zen/D.Va, no one else can reliably contest a Pharah.
Another flying hero could, in theory, make Pharah more viable as it’d take pressure off of her in the air, while also possibly forcing GOATS heroes to swap to aerial counters.
But… wouldn’t an aerial tank counter Pharah?
It would counter her on the enemy team, but enable her if on the same team.
I open these threads just to see how many posts it takes for someone to say “delete Brig”
But in all seriousness I think they’ve done a decent job toning GOATS down. More comps are popping up, especiall in OWL (I think 1 tank 2 healer was popular when I watched it last) so it’s done something good. I doubt they’ll mess with it more because it risks ruining characters outside of a 3-3 composition.

Hate to break it to you but they will never kill that meta.
Just cause you dont like the meta doesnt mean that theyre gonna kill it.
Also pro teams/owl are far away from what actual ranked ladder is and people should realize it unless they dont have brains to think.

They are what they will be regardless of what meta it is (moth, dive, 3-3, bunker what ever)

I don’t want my main (Lucio) nerfed again just so GOATS dies in OWL. Your idea that I want GOATS gutted and I don’t enjoy watching it is so far from the truth.
I don’t think I’ve ever played in Goats yet, and I play Brig all the time. I think the closest I’ve come was Goats but with McCree or Hanzo instead of DVa.

GOATs has no range (vertical) Pharah could be an effective counter but all that’s needed is a decent Mcree, Ashe or Widowmaker to put her down and allow GOATS to continue.
And the only way to allow a counter to GOATS without breaking the game (Brigitte) is to make the flying tank a bomber (drop bombs from a vertical position) with minimal weak long range options.
If the GOATS dependent team switches to the aerial tank they lost a key component in the 3-3 setup. And who said flying tank had to use barriers? (Key component in GOATS comp)
