I ment to get on and get the brig skin for the event unfortunately it was really boring and I just couldn’t force myself though it because it was so long I hate that the tie skins into things u aren’t interested in playing not only that I couldn’t just do all the needed challenges in one play though I hate missing skins I like because of game modes I don’t care about I hope I can buy this skin in the future. Because I was not about to waste anymore time playing that.

The devs still acknowledge the existence and fandom for Pink Mercy from the dating sim event, so I’m keeping my hopes up for it to return one day.

We do not know. This Anniversary MIGHT create the precedent, but I would not hold your breath. They have been making a lot of questionable decisions regarding monetization.

Oh, that’s right! I still think it’s crazy that anniversary has been moved back to October! It’s supposed to be held in May.

It could come around when the next set of missions is released… so sometime next year at best. Otherwise, it might pop up as a shop item.
yeah but the ppl in charge have basically said that their is no current plans for it to come back.

I just wish it wasn’t tied to the underground I was literally having to force myself to play that I couldn’t a 3 time as much as I like the skin I couldn’t force myself to play it anymore

Some skins will be rare pick-ups and may only be seen once a year (or longer). Such as:

So, to answer your question, yes, some skins are gone for good. So, if you see something you like, buy it unlock it or something. Don’t just sit around waiting.

There were plenty of challenges to do to unlock it. The youtube video on how to do that particular challenge was only 1:46, or so. You just had to be the one to grab the keycard and say thank you to the bot, assuming it hadn’t been destroyed… If it did, you had to re-do it.
Anyway, ever since the first Nano Cola skin I’ve made sure to collect every weekly challenge skin… Even into Overwatch 2, so I have Ice Queen Brigitte, which was the first challenge skin for OW2, as well as Asteroid Wrecking Ball, and such. I don’t understand why Brigitte gets two so quickly, when D.Va only has ever had 1… The very first one…
I thought hope was lost and then I read a post earlier saying an executive wants it to come back and now I’m back on the copium

Depends on the skin. I wouldn’t exactly have high hopes for the Alien Zarya skin making a comeback (which makes it even better than it was sheesh I’m happy to have this skin as a Zarya main)

It’s still my favourite Zarya skin. All those people who understandibly got refunds on it, only made it more rare than it already was, plus removing that stuff on her arms made the skin look better too. I can’t see that skin ever returning due to all the controversy that was around it.
I have a few of these from OW1. Is Dusk Reaper a rare skin?
