Yeah the location i can just put up to game sense. But the aim in its self was still abnormal to aim up and way from a vulnerable Sigma that’s on your Mercy to then have the cursor go in a straight line center torso.
Meee tooooo. I can spend 90% of my games failing and barely scraping by on the coattail of my teams carry. But then I can pop off one game, instantly “Hacker trash kid”, meaniwhile I know the reality of my games, looking at my 41% weapon accuracy with only 15 crits 5 minutes into the game, none but a feeling of shame washes over me as I contemplate how the enemy was a bigger bag of crap than I was.

ive seen a lot in streamers games where there are hitscan players wall hacking really obviously and its usually in combination with some very soft but suspiciously good aim and then those hilarious cree right clicks at walls where they try to lower their acc stat lmao

I only did just say most of the time I am “The carried” rather than someone with an Ego talking who thinks they are “The carry”.
So because you play a very small amount of time suddenly my opinions worth drops with your lack of game time? I’ve gained 400 levels in the past month alone mostly over the haloween event. You play 6 hours a week, I’ve been playing 6-14 hours A DAY most days. I get it, you don’t like me. But stay in reality where the things you say actually make any kind of sense.

I imply I am not that good, and am carried more often than not.
Everyone has their good games, just mine are relatively VERY infrequent which I alluded to in the previous sentence.
Pointing out my performance level WHILE POPPING OFF having one of my very infrequent GOOD GAMES where I actually contribute a decent amount to the teams performance, is still at that point, very mediocre statwise.
And then I note I feel ashamed that my stats are trash, and wonder how they are at the same rank if they think that what I’m doing is hacking, because most people perform better than I do ON THE COMMON.

Nobody’s saying there’s that many - “massive surge” in this context can mean anything more than rare, pretty much - but there’s enough that you obviously can’t deny they exist more often now than probably the first three years of the game.

Just gunna let you know you totally misunderstood how that post was structured.
that whole paragraph was about me being bad. And that someone worse than me, that I actually just beat - NOT LOST TO - is calling me a hacker, and I believe I’m not good enough to legitimately retain my rank at GM, and that somehow he is there too.
The first 6 months were muuuch rougher for hacked games. I feel like there has been an overall decrease between then and now.
More detected after that first period, though, and since then, they’ve been improving their aimbot implementations, and blizzard has been trying to work against them. It’s an arms race of sorts. So naturally some go undetected more often than others with how long the game’s been out, and the expensive ones look more like how a player would shoot (if they’re careful about it and the way they set it up), though if you have a good eye you can spot an unusual consistency in the way they do their shots.
Yeah I know that much, but there are fewer hackers and they aren’t so blatant anymore, in the first 6 months, you would get genjis tracers widows soldiers etc that have full aimlock on faces, and they were common enough to happen a few times daily.
The hackers have had to get smarter with their cheats, thus alot of the trashcans who would want to hack aren’t able to anymore as they just get banned off real quick because of their outdated hacks.
I even still have the clips of the time when I was level 50 a few weeks after overwatch was released that a full 6 stack were ALL full rage mode hacking. Nothing like watching a genji swiftstrike and even before the SS ends his camera instantly flips backwards onto the head. That was 6 hackers in a single match xD It was just worse when the game came out, now the normie hackers are all dead in the water.
Bots have gotten more subtle. Mostly because of the replay feature and the kill cam, you can look back and tell really easily when they track perfectly and snap to headshots every time. So of course the people who design them make them more subtle so they work better and get called out less. Than the players will just argue, NO THIS IS MY SMURF ACCOUNT MY MAIN IS GM I’M JUST BETTER THAN YOU LOL.
I played against a Roadhog like this. Didn’t miss a single hook or follow up shot ever, and pretty sure he was wall hacking to know exactly where I was because any time I turned a corner out of spawn, despite the exit I took, he was suddenly there to spawn camp and 1-shot specifically me.
Bottom line is, people are pathetic.

Yes, there are definitely more bots now than there has been in a while.
Some people just play low sens with a big mouse pad so they can still turn quickly. A good way to check for aim bot is slow down footage in replay. With everything that slow even fast flick shots will have a gradual increase in speed. An aim bot “flick” will be extremely fast even at that slow speed, like the cursor jumps to a head as they fire.
Paid aimbotes learn your aiming techniques. It will flick the same way you usually do.
