Are they allowed to customize key bindings or are they bound to use only default key binding settings?
Pretty sure they arenāt on the default sensitivity.
Key bindings, key bindings, not mouse DPI.
I thought that was a part of default settings. I remember there was a joke about Custa needing a new bind for ult because he kept fat fingering⦠But I do not know if he actually did it or if it was just for the funny.
I thought it would be important to know if they MUST use default key binding settings.
If a player was discovered to have talent it would be sad if they didnāt allow the player to use customized key binding settings.
All that practice may go to waste if someone had to change to default key binding settings.
Yes, of course they are allowed. Moth for instance uses the mouse wheel as jump for Lucio.
Itās a hard thing to think about really. I mean in general custom keybindings is a good thing⦠but it could also back fire. If for what ever reason they donāt load in properly, changed in practice session or what ever it would be really bad to lose a match cause the key binds were not what you are used to.
What I am trying to determine is if players stay with default no matter what and practice with default settings too.
Canāt confirm for sure but I highly doubt theyāre not allowed to use custom controls, I know Eskay uses custom controls for Lucio and she did play on a Contenders team, though honestly before your thread I had never thought about it
It would be a shame to put in hundreds of hours of practice you canāt use.
Just want to help players realize it may be sad if you played on Contenders and your settings are wiped then they say,
āJust use defaultā ( Oh no! )
WASD?
Psh, the pros use F9, left shift, spacebar, numpad 9
Their live settings are copied to OWL setup, I think it was Seagull who explained how it works.
Has anyone pressed this key before??
imagine playing owl with console sensitivity
I am quite sure that was a joke.
Doesnāt make sense to not allow custom key binds.
All the numpad keys have callout bindings for me, like press the attack/ defend with me/ Iām with you/ sorry/ youre welcome etc
As long as one key does only 1 thing it doesnāt really matter which keys will be used.
I donāt think so.
Most, if not all, pros use their own key bindings. Hell, some pros on other games would even bring their own gear with them seeing that they are more comfortable with them.
Hell, some pros in CSGO even have a script in console that changes their crosshair (which Valve agrees to and I donāt have anything against that).
This is kinda the same in sports where athletes use their own gears in competition as well.
this tiny and invisible trolling in your posts, I like that =)
