Are custom games giving xp?

I was playing a custom game match and when it was completed, I realized that I evolved from level, but I got WTF because custom games do not give xp. I decided to see again, I was 46 xp in a game. After she finished, I got over 600 xp. Sorry about my English

From my experience it depends on the gamemode you’re playing,for example it won’t give XP if you do next to nothing all game.This is to prevent AFK XP farming.
