I just finished writing my first bug report in regard to obstacles and Gravitic Flux and it got me thinking about other unreliable actions in game…
Breakable objects and rails feel like they’ve been buffed to me.
In Overwatch 1, even Mei’s pillow-handed punch would completely shatter any object on the lightest of impacts.
Moira’s purple succ would cause structures to crumble before her to the point where in pre-round I would position her succ as gently as possible just to make the sound ramp up without breaking it.
In Overwatch 2 I’m beginning to feel less like a hero and more like a mortal peasant, as some objects refuse to give out under my command.
Breakables either got buffed or heroes silently got nerfed across the entire roster aside from Rein and Brig.
Sometimes when I play Mercy and I am temporarily pocketing Roadhog, S76, or Hanzo, I feel it is my duty to them to break railings in front of them to give them some room to work.
Let me tell you. I have never felt so weak, insecure, and worthless as a once strong and independent Mercy until now when it takes two or three strikes to break a timy little railing that is pressed up against Roadhog’s belly.
It’s freaking embarrassing.
Mercy just grunting furiously, Roadhog gets concerned now so he starts wailing on the railing because he wants to help. We are exchanging voicelines to feel good about our team work as an enemy hook swoops in to pulls the now distracted roadhog and the rest is history.
Who pushed this and how do they sleep at night?
