I don’t mean reworked (although, you could do that as well), but I’m talking about being replaced by another map from the location on Earth (and beyond). Like with Paris gone, there’s no map in France now that isn’t deathmatch. Are those spots gonna be brought back as maps, or we going globetrotting anywhere else first?
Not necessarily, but it is possible that they would reuse the assets from the current 2CP maps to make new maps of another mode. Jeff Kaplan’s hypothetical example was a payload map on the other side of the Anubis pyramid.

They’ll definitely be in the PvE modes.
I really wish for a PUSH map in Horizon Lunar Colony. It even fits thematically.

Thy aren’t going to be replaced because the entire mode will be gone.
It is more likely to be repurposed for PvE instead.
Theirs a good chance we could get a new map of another mode with a similiar theme to the maps we do have.
Be it that will they go through and recreate every 2cp location into a new map… most likely not. Especially when those maps will are going to be recycled into PVE’s hero mission mode, Where they give the maps new objectives while playing against bots and the likes.
I need the middle of the map to take the teams into outer space…

I am so sad by this I really loved 2cp. I know it was unpopular but they really were my favourite games
I hope they remake those maps to use them on other modes.
Anubis and Hanamura are my favourite maps.
it will be still available in custom games, or possibly in the arcade as an optional mode.
