Archives and Dr. Junkenstein Events Should Be Permanent

I’ve been playing this game for over 2 years and these 2 events are the only ones I enjoy and have been playing over and over again while they were out, especially the Archives event with the challenge modes. I don’t like PvP at all, I find it too stressful and unbalanced, though I do practice a bit in skirmish while waiting for matches, but other than that I only play PvE, and in this game the only PvE stuff it offers is Practice vs. AI, which to me at this point is very boring and very repetitive, which is why when Archives + challenges come out I play it until I fall asleep playing it. It’s much more fun, much more varied, much more challenging than Hard AI and has more replayability.

With OW2 just around the corner I don’t see any good reason why these events should be restricted to just once a year. At the very least they should be kept open until the OW2 PvE stuff comes out to give players like us who don’t like PvP something to enjoy in the meanwhile.

Please leave Archives + challenge modes and Dr. Junkestein + challenge modes permanently unlocked, or at least put them in a weekly rotation.

If they are planning to sell the pve part of OW2 it wouldn’t make sense from business perspective. Not to mention there will be nothing left to milk for event “content” if they do that.

Lucioball should be if not always available at least a regular part of the arcade mode rotation.

Maybe they’ll rework them if they have better AI in the future

If only one of them was permanent, it would be archives because it weaves into the storyline(s) more then junkensteins revenge but also would like the challenge missions as well

I am on board with this - at least as being on the arcade rotation. I know they’re supposed to be there to draw people in during event times but since we’ve had these modes for some time now it seems like we actually need new modes and open up Archives/Lucioball/Mei’s Snowball games on a rotation on the arcade. I know new PvE modes probably aren’t a reality until they release the PvE portion of OW2 so it’ll be fun to see what comes.
