Arcade Mode Changes

The mode is for fun, and playing intentionally unbalanced game modes to win isn’t fun.

-Earning loot boxes should be about games played, not games won.

FFA Deathmatch shouldn’t be dominated by a select few heroes.

-Health packs should be replaced by healing zones that restore health if you control an area like in king of the hill. It incentivizes maps to have flow and lets non self-heal heroes, especially tanks be playable.

Alternatively, health should be partially restored for kills and assists.

-Score shouldn’t be solely based on final blows. It should reward heroes if they greatly damaged a target but had the final blow stolen, while still rewarding whoever gets the final blow.

That’s…the point of arcade though? If you want balanced fun, play QP or Comp. Arcade is supposed to be wacky and broken.

Why are you coming in her complaining that arcade isnt fun due to being unbalanced, then asking for unfair things like this?

What would you do to fix this? You can’t nerf heroes just because they’re really good at FFA deathmatch.

I literally explained in my post. If healing wasn’t limited to picking up scattered health packs across the map, you can actually support heroes with over 300hp with no self heals

If score wasn’t getting the final blow, you can play healers that aren’t Moira, tanks that aren’t hog, and DPS that aren’t McCree/Reaper

You can’t put that king-of-the-hill type healing idea into FFA, because then it would make a hero like Roadhog completely overpowered, who already does great by himself.

I don’t know about you, but I can make top 4 with Mercy in FFA deathmatch.

Except now McCree, Reaper, Mei, Ana, Brig, every tank, Echo, Torb, Junkrat, Sombra, will have high sustain by default too.

Hog only dominates in FFA because he’s the king of 1v1’s and has a self heal. In brawls he’s nothing but an ult battery and gets bullied hard when solo.
