As the title says. This is now the third day of the exact same Arcade modes in a row, with no explanation that I can see, and no indication that they intent to fix it. Furthermore, they don’t even say “Daily” or “Weekly” on any of them.
Now, if you’d had the decency to leave up Total Mayhem or No Limits, that would be one thing… but as it stands, we’re stuck with Low Gravity, which is basically the “do not want” of all modes, along with 2 kinds of Deathmatch, and CtF.
Blizzard, for the love of Baby Winston, fix this so we can get some variety back into our Arcade. weeps

Forget updating, let’s go one step further and let’s fix the blasted thing. Is anybody besides the DPS players having fun with it?

Arcade’s still broken.
What a disappointing weekend.

I thought arcade changes every monday? Or somethings like that
Arcade has several modes which are supposed to change weekly, and several which are supposed to change daily, and then Mystery Heroes, which is permanent because someone wished upon a monkey’s paw once.

Bug or not I kinda like that Mystery Deathtrash hasn’t showed up.
I think you are thinking about the Lootbox progression scale. That does change every Monday. You get one week to earn 9 wins for 3 lootboxes, and on Monday it resets.

Yes but there is a game mode that changes weekly, that’s what I was thinking of.
Thanks for the clarification
Probably a side effect of the competitive emergency bug fix

They’re probably more focused on fixing the comp bug, also QP classic was meant to come out when role q became official, but again the bug meant things were postponed.
I only hope they change the arcade interface, otherwise if QP classic is going to be a perment feature we are losing even more rotation in Arcade.
Frankly I think it’s just lazy of them to never put anything but the Hero Gauntlet and that one death match mode in the arcade from the Custom game section. There has to be better, more popular games right? Why not have a rotation of the most played/liked custom game every week?
Sorry about that. I misunderstood.

Do you mean like what people put together in the workshop?
Yeah, Blizzard gave us two workshop games that they put in the arcade mix up, but only those same two over and over again.
Arcade supposed to reset on Monday, still didn’t change.
I guess no one came in to work today. Makes sense, it’s a holiday.
We’ll just continue to exist in a state of being where Arcade is broken and we don’t get good modes.
Sigh.

They did provide those two workshops games, yes. So everybody can/does have access to those games. And I would think that Blizzard has some kind of popularity metric (I would be quite surprised if they didn’t). If I had to guess, it’s because there is some kind of curation or vetting process workshop modes have to go through; they can’t allow just anything. And maybe there is some kind of streamlining or polishing that is needed to make it fully functional. I don’t know; I haven’t played around in the workshop so I don’t understand the proverbial nuts and bolts.
On a slight tangent, how do people feel about the Arcade as a whole? I’m starting to seriously hate the thing.
Arcade used to be fun, until the hordes of death match match modes took over. We really don’t need all these types of modes that they insisted didn’t belong in the game.
Blizzard is really starting to pull a lot of stupid garbage, and the arcade is where you can see it all unfold.
Forget comp, half of the “balance” changes are from people who get their asses beat for being stupid, and then everyone else has to pay the price.
If they’re going to say stupid crap like “We don’t need mayhem because you can just make a custom game with those settings” Then get rid of arcade all together, because every game in it can he done in custom games as well.

I love Arcade because to me, it’s usually much more easy-going than QP and Comp. Also, it gives me modes which suit my own playstyle. (Hi, Mayhem!)
Sadly, Arcade’s been overrun by FFA/DM variants to the point where they seem to overshadow and crowd out the stuff I do like. I’m on record as a fan of the old Brawls, which were retired long ago, and I wish they’d return to Arcade to give us more variety.
Part of the problem with so many FFA variants is that they’re not interesting versions of the team-based system which Overwatch was designed for… I mean, why do we get FFA Mirror and FFA Mystery, but we can’t have things like “All Tanks” or “All McCree” or “Roadhog and Lucio fight at the Ilios Pit” again?
Honestly, I hope they’re trying to find a way to revamp Arcade so it can accommodate the various kinds of modes so everyone gets the stuff they like, and no mode goes missing for weeks at a time.
