I won 80% of my placement matches in the 6v6 comp in arcade including taking a win on the first placement match. How the heck did I get screwed into silver.
Did you play last season when season 1 of the 6v6 elimination was out?
if you where low then that could be the reason
It could also have something to do with what hero you played and how good you did, cause they calculate your rank compared with all the others
I played 2 games against guy with open profile. His rank is GM in normal comp, but bronze in arcade. He finished 1st arcade season as bronze, so that is why he placed in bronze now. But he plays as GM anyway, killed our team with Zarya, got 2 ults in 60 seconds. This mode absolutely broken and should be fixed, or high skilled players will keep abusing arcade ranking system.
I was getting 2 to 3 gold medals every match. Only ones i lost i got eliminated first.
I was placed plat in CTF because I played 3 games season 1
