I got banned because sometimes the “applying updates” screen appears and i cant stop the queue or do something else. The screen wont dissappear untill you restart the game and in that case you get banned for leaving. Is there a way i can get unbanned for that bug or you could fix it.

Same here I’ve been suspended twice today apparently if you go practice range when you log on it makes the bug not happen

same here, posting in hopes that the community team actually replies and reverts penalties
yup, welcome to my club. Then the next games after that you’re put with terrible players or quitters because the back-end thinks you’re a quitter too.
Pro Tip to Blizzard: Invest in the player and they will invest in you.
A snowball effect will begin to happen. No Customer support = Angry players = less play time= less spend = damaged reputation. Keep this going and this is the path you’re going down. From a beloved player, just looking out.

Same just happened to me - “Applying update” forever, restarted OW2, then “BANNED!”

Happened twice since season 4 release for me as well. And some of those I play with. Really puts a dent in the joy of playing as a team, when the rest has to wait for 15 min just because everybody didn’t do the practice range trick.

I hope they are going to delete the “leaves” from the ranked history…
I’m getting this bug too, it happens most of the time on the 1st launch of the game mode. I have had it twice now. I think it only happens if you are playing solo, I haven’t ever had it if i’m in a party.
Very annoying bug, I hope that it gets fixed soon.
