Applying Update message

Got that message before joining a game and all my character controls were reset but not the sensitivities. Lol restarted PS4 but no luck. Whyyy

I’m getting the same bug on ps4. the game has been really buggy since launch and they’ve never cared to fix any of them…

I see this on PC also but haven’t checked my settings.

I’ve seen it today a few times but haven’t noticed anything odd (PC).

I’ve been noticing the same thing, but it only pops up right after a game is found for my first queue after booting the game :o I didn’t notice any changed to character controls (on PC though) but I am having game breaking bouts of lag that makes it pretty impossible to play, even in custom lobbies with only me in it T^T

i got this on the computer, i got a match, then it instantly kicked me, and i had the “rejoin match option” clicking it did nothing, the game then chrashed giving me the error. and i was penalized as if i had left the match on purpose losing 50 sr and being banned for a time. when opening the game it said “update applied properly” or something like that, there was no update, i checked, nothing was updated.

I feel like someone’s jackin with me lol. 2 more times some of my controls were set back to default. It seems to only happen when joining mystery hero’s though. Quit playing that mode and haven’t had any more issues. (Console)

Exactly what happened to me.

Unknown Error (-5) what a joke.

My game crashes after the “error applying an update” message. I’ve tried reinstalling and everything but nothing seems to work.

I had this today as well several times, saying Applying updates from time to time. My friend who was waiting to join a game with me had the same message.

Besides that we werent able to join a single game at all, we tried Quick Play waited for 5 min even restarted the join a game (and no we didnt pick DPS roles) and we were thrown from one Skirmish into another (like 20 times)

In the end we decided to make a costum game since Arcade games and Quick Play wouldn’t let us join. Made a Game said Applying Update again and I just couldnt get the game to start the button wasnt working at all!
