It feels atrocious. “Hey, we’ve made an error that prevents you from entering a game - Let us punish you for it”.
And the worst part of the “punishment” for me is that I maintained a 5 star endorsement for almost three years in single queue OW1… and it meant something to me.
I have a 8 hour ban on my account as this is the 4th continuous day that I am unable to play because of this bug. Overwatch, will you revert changes to affected accounts. This is abysmal. I expected more from a company that charges $35 for cosmetics.

If I’m not mistaken, “disconnecting from game” will result in losing SR even though it’s not your fault. It a faulty design flaw over on Overwatch’s side that the community ultimately pays the price for.
I also got an 8 hour ban. It has happened to me 4-5 times, and I can’t do anything except restart the game. It’s still my fault, even though I’ve always been a good player. I never leave a match and always say ‘ggwp’ at the end of the game. But for now, I’ve been banned, and my endorsement has dropped to 1. Thank you, Blizzard!!!

Just happened to me. “Applying Update” after finding a game. I then get a 15 minute ban. We all know that they now put your account into a queue full of throwers and quitters. Ended yesterday on a 4game win streak through a fresh set of 5.
But the system isn’t rigged to keep you coming back like a junky or a gambling addict. Right… RIGHT?

This will be the second day in a row I lose competitive progress because of this glitch.
WHAT WILL BE DONE?! Is anybody gonna get their rank back? What a joke of a Fortnite clone this game has become, and then this!
Seems to happen for first game of the day usually. Try jumping into QP first for a game or two.
Just happen for the second time in 2 days for me and got banned again. Both times it was the first game I launch after starting the game. I’m unable to do anything when it happens and it feels really unfair to have no choice but accept the ban. Pls do something
Just happened to me. 14 minute suspension, what I’m sure counted as a “loss” all over something I had 0 control over. Hold off on giving out punishments unless your system works first.
I got a reply from support. They said they cannot reverse bans, wipe out the loss from your record, or basically do anything useful. Got a 15 minute ban yesterday. Got on today and got a 1 hour ban. I am uninstalling the game. Wish I could get my money back for the battle pass.
