You really need to fix this! Two times in two days I’ve queued up for a comp game only to get disconnected for not being able to apply the update. Then I get booted to main menu and am unable to “rejoin”. Each time suffering a 15 min penalty for a game that was never even played.
I’d much rather pay full price for a working game and buy loot boxes than suffer the service of a free game.
Same issue here. It’s happened enough times over that I’ve actually managed to run it up to a season 2 ban, so I’m fuming. Trying to respond to as many of these threads as possible and hope it gets some attention, because they’re going to lose a lot of players at this rate if it can’t be fixed soon.
I went 8/2 on my last 10 games. Trying to make Platinum 5. Still Gold 1 after my 7th win with two disconnects noted.
I’m done with this game for a while now. Between the bugs like this and the horribly poor matchmaking, they’ve broken this game.
This has been happening to me too and i just got an 8 hour ban and ruined whatever time i had to play overwatch AND my rank is now gonna be even harder to climb out of. I can’t believe this is an issue and i hope it gets fixed soon and maybe even compensated for it in comp points or something.

Same issue. I don’t care about my rank as much but still annoying.
Same here also got a season two ban because of this. Worst part is they responded to me and basically said they could do anything about it. How does this not warrant a refund. I literally can’t play the thing I paid to play.
